Full Series Season 5 [[(major spoilers & video clips!!!)]]

I hope that scene starts at 16 minutes into the episode like last week! I can't remember the last time I was this excited for an episode!!

On the subject of the preview, I am intrigued. I like how Randy isn't fazed by Sidious' arrival, though obviously he doesn't know just who has walked into the room.

 

Yeah dude, Korkie looks way older. What has he been eating?

LOL wow. Have you ever gotten a feeling that your in really big trouble before? I like how that scene starts.

 

It was great hearing the Emperor's theme (and the Imperial March) in that preview. This episode is looking better and better.

 

Listen here boy, now I don't want no trouble, but we don't take kindly to throwaway references like that in these parts, alright?
But really though, blegh... not feeling it at all. Maul has really just crushed my former enthusiasm for this show, just hoping it's rekindled by the Temple arc...

 

I bet there are going to be a few dozens of "Will Ahsoka die this season?" and "Where is Rex?" questions...

Aw this to my memory is the first episode I've actually been excited for.

 

I know its kind of a weird feeling to be excited for once

 

Why couldn't he quickly off Ahsoka randomly while he's duelling, throws Savage through a door and he crushes her or something.

 

The stolen line from ANH pulled me right out of the scene. Seriously, the writers need to learn that duplicate lines don't enrich the show. I anything, they have the opposite effect.

On another note, I'm surprised that Maul's so quick to bow before Sidious. After building his criminal empire (and his ego) I'm surprised he's willing to be an apprentice again.

 

How much time did it take you to think of this idea?

I love all the homages to ANH in this episode. Maul may be affecting subjugation in order to gain an advantage of attack.

 

Maul is just scared of Sidious.

I actually liked it, normally I'm not a fan of rip-offs from the movies (they're quite terrible and poorly used when they use them, other than* I have a bad feeling about this*), but it was vastly appropriate to reuse the line.

Regarding Sidious, he's terrified as hell of him. Remember, this guy trained under him all his life. There is no being more powerful than Sidious, even Maul acknowledges this.

 

It is the Sith way to do what they have to to survive right? If that means bowing down and groveling...

 

Surely not, otherwise they wouldn't train their apprentices to be able to surpass them
I realise irrelevant in this scenario.

 

Its Darth Vader's theme / the Imperial March, not the Emperor's theme.
