    You still haven't explained how that scene qualifies as "gratuitous violence." Probably because there is no logical way to explain that claim.

    I want to say Tarkin (yes, I know he's not in the list), and he was a total b*****d using his Death Star to destroy Alderaan without a second thought but seeing as he was blown up at the end of ANH, I'm going out on a limb and choosing Jabba. A big fat slug thing that ruled Tattooine's underworld with an iron fist. He kept a huge ******g rabid monster in his basement for God's sake!!!

    He killed people (his own men even) without a second thought, intimidated the crap out of Lando, froze Han in carbonite, and destroyed Palpatine.
