Got completely slaughtered in a fight against him because there was no Diaochan around to make him get in a silly fight with his lord, Dong Zhuo, so basically I got pincered.

Dread Pirate is really only fun if you're all very, very drunk, eating some pizza, enforcing a mandatory rule about cartoonish pirate accents, and are blasting Alestorm on the sound system. At which point you could, frankly, skip the crappy board game altogether.
