It seems that I am not the only one that finds Han Solo an annoying prick...

 

Eh, Han. Second to Leia. He was fine in A New Hope, but by ROTJ, I really didn't care for the character.

 

I see your hating on the Wookiee, which should be on this list.
I'll go with Han. I liked him better when he shot first. It made him more of a roguish character and that was diminished.

Leia, I love all three of them, but just not her as much as Han and Luke.

 

Man... What? That's what makes Han so great... He's not just a "I r great guy, must save day now" type of guy. Had some depth to him.

Clearly, I didn't phrase that right.... Read my whole post. He actually is a deeper character than your typical "bad guy/good guy" character. That's why I like him.

What, I can't like Star Wars and hate Han Solo? The guy is annoying, loud, needy and whiny... He has a bounty on his head for a reason...He's a cocky moron.. Chewey is even worse with his ****ing growling....That somehow disqualifies me from being part of the fanon?? I'd love to hear your reasons.

 

My God you're a sensitive one. I'm mostly joking and prodding. I don't care if you like Han or not. I just associate him as one of the characters that makes Star Wars what it is. When I think Star Wars I don't think Obi Wan Kenobi or some other guy, I think Han Solo.

I've just never seen someone who "hates" Han and love Star Wars. Sorry I "disqualified" you. Yikes.

Leia fo sho..

 

This is the Trinity, the "Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman". These are the icons I fell in love with as a lad. As a group, as the big 3, they compliment each other so well with brilliant character arcs and chemistry. I love Luke's classic hero journey, Han's redemption, Leia's growth into such an authority figure. I love them. It's not bias. It's simply I really do love these three characters. Sorry.

Everytime I say that I don't like Han Solo I get this "wtf kind of Star Wars fan are you?"...it gets annoying after a while..

 

I just find him loud, obnoxious, needy, annoying, selfish, cocky and temperamental. He is like the Vegeta of Dragonball z.... I don't see any redeeming good quality in Han Solo... besides saving luke in The ESB, hes annoying.

ummh...not picking Nazi Germany as the least favorite out of the big 3 of WWII is...Well the term for it violates TOS. There is a reason the Soviets used to be our allies in that conflict...They weren't pure evil, like the freaking Nazis. I hope you were joking.

Anyway, on topic, Leia.

It's not that I don't like her, I just like Han and Luke more. Especially Luke. He's who the Saga (OT) is all about in my mind. Joseph Campbell's Journey of the Hero finds few examples in the modern media like Luke Skywalker.

and Han is just a badass. Especially for the qualities people have listed for disliking him.

Dude I was meaning the Big Three of the Allies: United States, United Kingdom, and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Not the Big Three of the Axis. But yes, Nazi Germany would be my least *favorite* of the Axis cause they were...freaking Nazis.
