it clearly states that some type of sex offenders can show signs of slight improvement. This probably has to do with people who flash. It clearly states pedophilia cases show no signs of being rehabbed. It even says in a 10 year study the overwhelming majority re offended.

 

Nobody questioned your love of children.

 

I think something written 20 years ago with no scientific validity to begin with on the topic of SCIENCE should be re-evaluated, yes.

As for my views on the subject, I must be completely honest: I do not have enough experience in the field of rehabilitation, psychology, or criminal behaviour, to comfortably and reliably say one way or other whether an entire group of people can have their behaviour changed through therapy.

But what I am comfortable saying is that I seriously doubt that such a generalisation as "its (sic) a known fact predators of children cannot be rehabilitated" is definitely 100% true.

this topic did go off hand.. I didn't start this it was brought up by another poster earlier on and away it went.

what I said was I wouldn't care if they were all executed, hence I have no sympathy for them.. People on here could defend them and say try rehab, which is proven not to work, buti couldn't care less what happens to a 50 year old man whos abused 25 children during his life...

I legit DO NOT care if they put him in a box and bury him in the ground alive. On this issue I have no remorse for them. Not a shred.

when the Sandusky fiasco dropped we heard on the news things like "all people who rape children were abused themselves as children, while all abused children DO NOT grow up to be rapists of children." some choose not to rape even though they have been raped. so I have no sympathy for the ones who take it upon themselves to ruin a innocent childs life.
