Straight from the old JC forum, this is the Prequel Trilogy Trivia Challenge 2.0!
Thanks to the PT forum’s dictator mod, Sx3, I was able to revitalize this old game.

Before I get into the rules and what not, I would like to start by saying that I know some might remember this game, while others (new to this forum) might not. This game is open for everyone, and not just the frequent posters/viewers of the PT forum. It might be easy for some or hard, but it depends on how well you know the PT and not the EU (more on that later).

About your host:
I am the legendary GGrievous. I’ve contributed to at least three games prior to Game 21, in which I won.

GAME RULES:

1. Since this is not occurring face-to-face and since this is the internets, honestly it’s up to you if you want to use Wookieepedia as a source (or google). However, since I am a Wookieepedian myself, I know that I won’t copy article text verbatim. So depending on how you use the Wook, you might have to do some reading if you’re not sure of the question.
2. DVD, novels, source books, et all can be used. See "Wuts Cheating?" below. Any discussion of torrents or illegal downloads are prohibited. If you ever discuss this or if I catch you, you will be eliminated and will be reported to Sx3. Forum rules still apply.
3. Please follow "Questions, Elimination Guidelines." The information will help you!
4. You may not post your answer in this thread. Should this occur, I will ask Sx3 to delete the post. PM me!
5. Please, after pm-ing me with your answer, post “Answer sent” or anything relating to the sent pm in this thread.
6. Things to remember:

- When a new question is posted, I will alert everyone via bulk pm.​

- When the deadline is approaching, I will alert everyone via bulk pm.​

- If you missed the deadline, I will pm you privately.​

- So please be sure to check your pm. I will properly label it so you know it’s the trivia game.​

QUESTIONS, ELIMINATION GUIDELINES
Total of 15 questions (for now, until this game gets on its feet). From question #1 through #15, it will be going from easy to hard.

For questions 1-5 (Easy Round 1) -- You will be given four days (Question posted on Sunday). On Wednesday of the same week, question answer will be posted and points will be given. After that, a new question will be given.

Eliminations should occur following these first 5 questions.

For questions 6-10 (Moderate Round 2) –You will be given four days (Question posted on Sunday). On Wednesday of the same week, question answer will be posted and points will be given. After that, a new question will be given.

For questions 11-15 (Hard Round 3) – You will be given four days (Question posted on Sunday). On Wednesday of the same week, question answer will be posted, points given, and THE WINNER MAY BE ANNOUNCED AFTER #15.

Questions 1-5 are worth 1 point per question.
Questions 6-15 are worth 2 points per question.
Possible Bonus Questions will be worth 1 Point

Since I am a nice guy, you can send me another pm if you think you got the answer wrong. Remember, imo, I believe all of you will have enough time for the first two rounds to check answers. If you want to change your answer, do so in your original “answer sent” pm that you sent me. Tell me that you’re going to change it so I know. I will not accept any changes in the third round. Once you send me an answer, that will be your final answer.

After the first 5 questions, anyone under 5 points will be eliminated. There is a pattern for the next 2 rounds as well. Anyone under 10 points following Round 2 is eliminated. Anyone under 15 points after the 3rd Round is eliminated.

Whoever has the highest amount of points following the 3rd round is the winner!

If everyone, but one, is eliminated by the 3rd round, the last man or woman standing will be winner by default. Consider yourself the victor.

If there’s two or more remaining after the 3rd round and all have the same amount of points, a sudden death game may occur. Rules will be posted at that time.

Basically it would be very simple if I just gave you a question and you had to answer it (either by looking it up or knowing by memory), so to keep things interesting, you must tell me your answer and why you think it’s correct. I will only be giving out points for those who have the correct answer. I will be using the statement as a check so I know none of you guys are cheating or randomly guessing.

"WUTS CHEATING?"
Cheating =/= looking at your sources, whether it’s a DVD, book, source book, or online. Again, this is the internet and we’re not face-to-face. (See Rules #1 and #2 above)

"No EU?"
As said above, all questions will be about the PT only -- films and perhaps its novelizations. I will not post any EU questions and that includes the Clone Wars (between AOTC and ROTS only. Clone Wars depicted in the films might appear).

As a rule of thumb, except to see questions relating to:
- The Phantom Menace
- Attack of the Clones
- Revenge of the Sith
- Behind the scenes of the films

Any questions or comments could be posted in this thread. I have it watched so I'll be able to answer your question/comment ASAP.

Yup, one per week. To make things simple, I've changed the days. All question answers will be posted once a week (Sunday) and a new one posted on the same day.

So I'm sure you guys will have enough time as it's Sunday to Sunday. Rounds 1 and 2, you could pm me if you decided to change your answer. However, in the third round, you can't pm me again once you've submitted.

IMO you might as well wait a few more days--not everyone logs onto here every day, and you might even get more people than just 10. But it's up to you, obviously.

 

I like to point out that there's no rush. If you want to send me an answer by mid week, then that's fine.

Remember -- I will bulk pm all 10 participants when a new question is posted and when the deadline is near. One of the advantages of this forum is that you could turn on a feature that notifies you when you receive a new pm (the email even shows the title of the pm). So if you don't log in, you'll still be notified that you have a new pm.
