The Dean continues to be the best thing about the show.

Also, if I didn't know Dan Harmon had left, I wouldn't have been able to tell based on the episode.

Completely missed these when I watched it:

I've never been a fan of the Halloween episodes, so wasn't expecting much.

The fact that it was somewhat Pierce-centric didn't help either.

Me neither. Not even the Troy and Abed credit-bit was any good. Though it was nice to see Gilbert again. And a reference to Inspector Spacetime is always welcome.

Didn't think this episode was particularly strong. But that's to be expected, really.

Not there best Halloween episode. I was more annoyed at the pairing of Britta and Jeff in the house. I think it would be more fun with Jeff and Annie wondering around.

Another thing I feel the writers are trying to close a lot of the plots up really fast. Probably afraid the show won't get picked up for season 5

the only good halloween episode was the one where abed was batman and kept doing batman monologues in voice-over. i think that was the first one

Well, you'll all be glad to know that it dropped from a 1.9 to a 1.2 between the premiere and yesterday's episode. So we don't have to worry about more ho-hum Halloween fair. [face_dancing] Hell, if the decline continues and NBC has something to put in the timeslot, we can look forward to a good ol' fashion summer burn-off.

Personally I thought it was pretty damned funny. And I loved their season two Halloween episode where everyone got turned into zombies. It's the Christmas episodes I can't stand.

I liked the first two halloween episodes, I liked the first two xmas episodes. The only episodes that aren't my favourite are the first three or so.

I also liked this episode, actually. And I didn't hate Pierce in it ... which is really ****ing weird ... WHAT IS HAPPENING AUGH

I enjoyed the episode. Seeing W. Winger on the boxing gloves was awesome. I enjoyed the interaction between Jeff and Britta. I enjoyed Abed watching "TV" and saying, "I remember when this was a show about a community college".

I think this show is starting to slip personally. I found these first two episodes to be pretty "meh".

And I love this show, so I don't enjoy typing this.

The first two episodes of season three were pretty crap in all fairness.

Judge it after six or seven episodes.

I agree that it's early in the game. And no show is going to hit it out of the park every at bat. We shall see where it goes.

It's also not that I thought they were terrible, just "off" if you know what I mean

The Ring Girl gag with Annie at the start was excellent, but after that, not many laughs at all.
