Hopefully this doesn't delay Jurassic Park IV indefinitely, even though Star Wars is my main passion, I was looking forward to a new Jurassic Park movie.

Not surprised. Star Wars alone as a massive task, let alone Star Wars and another film. I wonder if JJ is going to start cancelling his projects

No surprise. She's the President of LucasFilm after all. All of everyone's time and energy seems to be focused on VII.

It's a good thing. Marshall is more than capable of shepherding JPIV as is Spielberg. If Indy V ever gets off the ground they might all work together again.

That's good news, but I hope JP IV still manages to come out. I've never seen a JP film on the big screen before.

No, I will not go see a post-converted 3D film that was perfectly fine in 2D. I have plenty of other movies that I will need to see this summer anyway.

So you won't see J.J. Abrams' post converted Star Trek movie too? :)
You should hope that Star Wars is in native 3D then.

What I mean is that I'm a starving college student, and I can't really pay money to go see a movie that I've already seen for free at home. If VII is post-converted I'll grin and bear it.

A delay might be a good thing for JP IV. One of the problems with Jurassic Park III is that it was sort of rushed into production.

As much as I'd love another Jurassic Park, my love for Star Wars came first! ;)

I like JP, but the fact it was announced as just over a year away with no cast or director confirmed suggests it will be rushed and then suck. Spielberg can produce it, KK doesn't need to.

If the screenplay for JP4 is decent as they say, delaying it so it can be worked on more would be better for it.

What is better for JP, a complete reboot or an add-on to the current trilogy?

    ENOUGH WITH REBOOTS!!

Sorry if you like them, but I am against this trend of rebooting everything.

Star Trek into Darkness is still coming out, but that was filmed before the Disney/LFL merge. Whether JJ is going to direct Star Trek III is unknown at this time.

Jurassic Park IV was already delayed because of Michael Crichton's death. Kathleen Kennedy actually said his death made them rethink it and put the idea aside indefinitely. I'm fine with the franchise just being left alone, and have felt that way since the mid'-90s when I found out the sequel would reveal a new island out of nowhere. The only thing left unexplored is an actual working Jurassic Park theme park.

Not saying I like em or hate em, just do not know what is better for the JP franchise...
