    I will definitely be watching the Oscars! I wasn't going to since last year was such a joke (The Artist shouldn't have been nominated in any of the major categories, Hugo should have won) but since Seth McFarlane is hosting and the BP movies that I have seen have all been good, I am excited!

    Never watch the Oscars - not since the Saving Private Ryan fiasco...

    Besides, I'm having too much fun with the Youtube downloader, the PS3, and a 50" tv...

    Shakespeare in Love was decent, but it obviously can't hold a candle to Saving Private Ryan. Also, Joseph Fiennes is nowhere near as talented as his brother. And Gwyneth Paltrow winning over Cate Blanchett that year? Seriously?

    I haven't watched since Julia Roberts got Best Actress for Erin Brochavich (sp?).

    And the only not-made-for-kids movies I had any interest in this year were Lincoln and The Avengers. So no, I probably won't watch.

    When Jim Carrey's Grinch makeup beat out Willem Dafoe from Shadow of the Vampire, I wrote off the Academy once and for all.

    I would like to thank the Academy for my Sunday night being free...

    ...probably because I go out to see a movie maybe an average of once a year! :p

    I hear it is wonderful, but I have an aversion to it for fear of it being some Denzel propagandha piece.

    Actually, "Legalize cocaine for people who operate passenger vehicles... it keeps them alert!" would be an amazing stance to hear on the news now that I think about it.

    I actually watched Crash back in September expecting to hate it, and I actually liked it quite a bit. Munich was still the better film that year (haven't seen Brokeback Mountain yet but I will now that it's on Netflix).
