Is the Palpatine we saw in "The Lawless" the best lightsaber performance we have ever seen?

That's exactly what I was hoping for. Playing off the iconography of Maul and the double-bladed lightsaber would have made the duel perfect for me.

 

Yeah the original Grievous duel is great, the Kit Fisto/Grievous duel is great, the Kenobi vs. Maul & Savage is great.

The Palps duel was definitely up there.


Edit: Imagine a world where we actually get to see Mace fight say Grievous or Dooku or Ventress.

Nah nah nah, you're all wrong. This one takes the cake. The guy decimates a whole village with his unmatched saber prowess.

 

Maul isn´t entire without his double bladed lightsaber, he can have no legs, but not a double bladed lightsaber!!

 

Which shows you why he wasn't afraid to tell Anakin that he was a Sith. The guy was badass, and taking on four Jedi masters that he knew were coming for him didn't even faze him.

 

True, but considering 20 years latter Anakin just picks him up and tosses him to his death, maybe he should have been a teeny more careful eh?

 

I think people overestimate Sidious's clairvoyance.
