CT Darth Vaders Origins?

Hey everybody, so my dad bought me the star wars trilogy (pretty old movies i must say) and may I say, I was SHOCKED when Vader told Luke that he was his father. Who woulda thought? Anyways, Vaders a pretty interesting character and I was wondering if any of you can tell me his origins? How he became Vader and what not. I mean, there's no way he was born with that suit (unless he had some birth defect). Thanks!

You watched episodes IV, V and VI. You need to watch episodes I, II and III.

I'm curious. If you haven't yet done what these other people have suggested (checked Wikipedia or watched the prequels), could you list any impressions you may have of how you think Luke's father became Vader? Personal speculation on what the pre-Classic Trilogy-era? If you don't want to, that's cool. But I'm just curious.

Check out the prequel trilogy. The first film is called Batman Begins. Christian Bale plays Anakin and talks like he has a sore throat when he puts on his Jedi suit. I could really relate to the character since I had a sore throat once.

Episodes 1 through 3 are just GLs version of how it all happened. Paitiently awaiting a better remake.

Reality, at least that's what they say now. In a decade or two, who knows what will happen? But I'm pretty certain there will be no Star Wars remakes or reboots as long as Star Wars remains as popular as it is now. As far as I'm concerned, I have six good movies to re-watch over the years.
