Lit Star Wars: Kenobi by John Jackson Miller

My serious guess is that the romance is not for Ben (for once). Owen and Beru are also already a couple and a scruffy-looking stork has brought them a child, so new characters will get some love.

My non-serious guess: Obi-Wan goes through a phase in which he goes into a bar, has a drink, chops some arms off and charms anyone he likes, night after night. But what happens when he starts having actual feelings? Will this romance end in tragedy? (Hint: it will)

My more non-serious and more tragic guess: Obi-Wan had just bought a ring and was on his way to his girlfriend when he saw Tusken raiders attacking a boy...

 

The romance element will confirm my long standing theory that Ben Kenobi had fathered twelve kids offscreen in ANH and that he was on the run from his second mistress when Luke found him out in the desert.

Don't anyone give me that "Ben Skywalker can't just be offscreen in Epsiode 7" poodoo when Ben Kenobi had his kids running around offscreen all along!

 

OBI-WAN/ASAJJ. THE ONE TRUE PAIRING.

 

I do hope we get a conclusion to Ventress in this story

I'm confused. Where have you seen there's going to be a romance angle to this book?

This book sounds great! I think there is a lot of potential for interesting stories that can be told about Obi-Wan during this time period. I have not read anything by this author yet, but from what I have heard I think he will do a good job. I shall have to add it onto my list of books to check out.

 

This needs to be released already.

 

This is the book that has me most excited this year. I literally can't wait!

 

What if Mrs. Kenobi had enough after child number 8, and made Obi-Wan get the snip?

He would then have to throw some clones into the mix, to ensure he has a 12 member Kenobi Council.

it is true we do not have much about obi wan in the late tatooin time peiriod, but everything else is covered in the bio novel

 

Would he need twelve for that? Only three of them are allowed to talk at any given time. The rest could be dolls.
Actually, only two have to be humans. One doll can have a small droid inside that chooses an obvious remark time to time.

Obi-Wan: We are worried about the local Tusken tribes.
Obi-Two: There could be an open war between settlers and Tuskens soon.
Obi-3 (a droid): Bad, wars are. Stop them, we must.
Obi-Four-To-Twelve: *looks at each other*
