I'm glad your reaction was also "What the **** did I just watch?" I thought it was just me being stupid. I feel vindicated now.

I'll have to read all of those just to make sure I understood everything.

I really might just get completely ****faced and MST it.

But I'm not sure I can tolerate it again even under those circumstances.

I couldn't agree with your review more, Fanboy.

Well your still at Overlords right? Wait to the next 2 episodes. It might help or make it worse. I think I might have it on the most basic level but I might be 100% wrong. I have no clue.

From what I remember of the next two, it gets a lot worse.

If you have a few bottles of wine spare and you're willing to do an experiment, I would be very interested in seeing what the threshold is to suddenly understand Mortis.

It's a cartoon, not a philosophy class. If I have to watch it more than once to figure out what the hell I'm watching, it's a turn off.

I also don't believe in destiny or prophecies or divine intervention so this entire arc was doomed to be crap for me from the start.

Would you settle for a drinking game? Empty your glass every time it makes you go "what the ****?"

Actually you'd probably die from that.

Yeah, I think that's alcohol poisoning within the first five minutes.

If I can conjure the passion, I might watch the Mortis trilogy just to tear it to pieces, scene by scene.

I like things that we have to read or watch more than once to get the picture. Deepens the experience for me. See things that we miss. Take the Harry Potter series for example. I've read the whole series in a row about 8 times and each book except Deathly Hallows many more times than I can remember yet I can still find things that I did not know until that read through. Makes the experience great.

In Witches of the Mist Obi-Wan knows Darth Maul's name. How?

He just does. It's best to just accept that and move on, imo.

I don't know what y'all are talking about, Mortis was awesome. Well, Overlords at least. I think I should rewatch them, since I haven't seen them in quite a while. Then I can re-rewatch them, but taking a page from AF's book and doing it ****faced. Might make the last two eps more enjoyable. ;)
They explained that Nute Gunray told everyone Maul's name during his trial after the Battle of Naboo. Not a great explanation, but plausible enough to satisfy me.

So... I like Mortis. The enjoyable craziness of Ahsoka going dark and fighting Anakin and Obi-Wan, the Daughter and the Son battling it out, the Father's discussion of the Prophecy of the Chosen One, and what exactly bringing balance to the Force means...

But I don't seem to take it as literally as some people. I don't see how you can take it literally considering the entire trilogy is meant to take place within about 5-10 seconds as per the Big Three still being in their ship, and Rex being none-the-wiser.

Well according to Apocalypse it's a real place, with the Ones being also real. Absolute bull**** is what I call it.

Yeah, I know. Have you heard the suggested ending of the Big Three in the EU being them becoming the new Ones? [face_laugh]

I'm laughing, but also crying because I know it's not actually that unlikely.

That is pretty plausible imo Todd the Jedi. Don't know if I agree with that but it makes sense.

I actually think it'll happen too. :( Maybe that's what the ST's plot will be.
