Speculation will there be some kind of announcment at the oscars sunday?

    I'm still putting money on that table that there's an announcement within 72 hours after Oscar night. Especially if Madame Kennedy gets her Oscar.

    Well......how long till comic con or whenever the next big nerd convention is? Then we can FORCE them to give us news. *though they' might be stalked by the Disney and Abrams sniper so we might not get concrete answers*

    I dont know about the Oscars, but KISS literally showed up un-announced at the 1996 Grammy's and announced their reunion tour........

    I'm pretty sure SW will at least get a mention by McFarlane as a safe joke, though. With a cut to JJ's face hesitating before realizing the camera is on him and then fake smiles/laughs.

    You know what would be the best thing ever? Tonight right before best picture, the lights dim, the screens pop up, "And the winner is..." and they just run a super-shot-and-finished-in-secret Episode 7 trailer featuring the big three and the bad guy and the new characters and everything. Lights come back up, Abrams is standing there and says "Star Wars in summer 2015, g'nite everybody!" roll credits. Best oscars ever.
