I love that the X-wing tells dirty jokes. Now you've got me wondering if the Falcon has also heard those jokes from the X-wing, or if R2 and the Falcon talk to each other about the X-wing. Do the ships talk to each other, or is R2 the intermediary for each?

The "statistical anomaly" and "droids save the day" parts were great and so very true! R2 knows what's what.

 

I love Artoo and Threepio as a team. I remember watching their adventures in the tv show 'Droids' when i was a kid and loving it. It was so funny.





Thumper09 - i think it's entirety possible that the Falcon and the x-wing talk to each other when they are alone in the same hangar. I can just imagine them gossiping about Han and Leia's arguments.
I put that bit in about the x-wing because the book clearly states that Luke won't allow for the maintenance crew to wipe out the fighter's memory so they have to call Artoo in whenever they have to calibrate it.

 

Poor Artoo - when he encounters an uneventful situation, he becomes even more convinced that something big is about to happen soon.

Hehe, how cute that Han used the droids to confirm Luke's identity! It's kind of sad that this is exactly how communication is nowadays - through encryption and passwords...

Artoo is so sympathetic with even Star Destroyers.then again I suppose being a droid outside of knowing the Imps are bad SD are just vessels....tools to be used so yeah...they are neutural

I'm also curious as to what the Empire wants with fifty-one mole miners...

 

You'll find out. I can tell you now it's a VERY crazy plan. There are a lot of crazy plans in this trilogy.

 

Count me in as someone else who loved the "crazy plan alert," LOL.

I think this is the first time I've ever felt bad for a Star Destroyer.

Hopefully the Falcon came through unscathed, and I'm looking forward to the crazy plan!

The Falcon only suffered the usual bruises, nothing serious. The next entry will be all about the crazy plan.

Really love the droid's eye view of the galaxy in Artoo's entries. He worries about that poor abused Star Destroyer (I can see it now, a droid-run Star Destroyer rescue organization -- they're not bad, they just need loving care and a good home!) And the crabby city computer is offended at losing the mole miners.

»» I'd venture to say that they're planning on locking her in a tower somewhere and let her hair grow until her rescuer can climb it. Oh wait... that was a holo I watched a month ago. I really need to defragment my memory banks again.



»» CRAZY PLAN ANALISYS: I don't think they'll be able to actually fool the Empire with these shenanigans. All they have to do is land and the disguise will be forfeit. Maybe if they dressed up Threepio with a white gown and buns on his head, they could get away with it. But then they'd have to disguise the General to look like Chewbacca or people will wonder where the Wookiee went. I'd love to record that. I might do a holo-montage of Threepio and the General in disguise while Master Luke is slee... I mean in his hibernation trance.

Yeah, Artoo, I don't get it either. I'd love to record it as well, though!
