Yup. Newborns and babies under 4 months old need 18-20 hours of sleep a day. Otherwise, they are cranky and fussy. I'll bet you and the missus are much happier now, too.

I just got the email letting me know I can interview for the exec secretary position at my office! I have an interview week after next at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5!! Must remember to get my hair done! And wear makeup.

Thanks, D-G! I do know there's one person I won't be competing for this job with. A woman called and asked about the job, including how to apply for it. If she had read the ad in its entirety, she would have known how to apply for it without asking. Since she can't even follow simple instructions, she won't be one of the ones considered for the job.

So, had my job interview today. It went well; they liked my answers (I was interviewed by 3 people) and liked the way I was dressed. I dressed a lot more professionally today, including makeup. We'll see what happens. They plan to make an announcement by the end of the week.

 

Good gravy! They announce a new film with the OT cast, and everyone comes back, or at least they start to.

Donovan had his 2 month checkin Monday. Current weight/length: 9.5 pounds, 21.5 inches. For a baby born 3 weeks early, he's catching up Oh, and he got 3 shots as well, 2 in one leg 1 in the other. He hated us the rest of the day.

 

Three shots and an oral. The needles on those things were long enough to go to the bone of his little thighs and then some. Yeah, he was NOT happy after that. He wasn't too bad that day...it was the day after he started getting extra upset and blowing drool bubbles. Based on what he's doing and what the Interwebs have told us, we suspect he's starting to teeth.

*sigh* Sleep..how we miss thee...

Thanks, I heard back already and they chose my co-worker, which is fine as she and I work together well.

Glad to hear the baby is fine! Yeah, they hate those shots, but if they got sick...

Teething is easy to deal with--get lots of chewy things for him. the ones that go in the frig first are good. Stock up on baby painreliever, too. Be careful when checking for new teeth, babies can chomp pretty hard. I know this from experience!

Okay. I didn't get the job, but I think I dodged a bullet because they combined two jobs into one. I don't know how long that will last, because both desks were pretty busy at the same times.

 

I finally was able to see my back doctor yesterday. I have pain meds again. Wheeeee!

 

YAY!!! Back to the rockingchair with you--it's good for back exercise.
