Senate The Expanded Universe Senate

Ok since no one else has anything the first order of business is going to be to create a committee for the Spring Fling. I'd like this to be ready to go by April first. I'm looking for someone to head up the committee but if there are no volunteers I will do it.

Here is a link to the previous Spring Fling. We had a cake walk, an egg toss, a kissing booth. So think carnival and go wild with ideas. If anyone is interested in helping or volunteering, for instance "Pie a mod in the face" booth or something like that, post your interest here. The goal is to have fun and generate posts.

The second item on the agenda is going to relate to Spring Fling. I'd like to increase our presence in the Welcome New Users forum and I think we could invite them to the Spring Fling to mingle with us in a fun format. Is anyone interested in working with me on this idea?

I volunteer Addie. I don't know if I could do anything in particular but I'll help out.

 

I could do an EUC Space Race or something. I could even make everyone's ships!

I can not do a bunch of differing, and heavily detailed, models. At least not in anything resembling a short amount of time.

 

Can you make 4 or so different ones before April 1st? Then people could choose their ship before the race and it would help time-wise.

April 1st? Most likely yes...especially if we did starfighters instead of freighters. Equally good since I already have the X-Wing and Starstreak (my Z-95/X-Wing hybrid) models done.

How about an A-Wing (since I've already been requested to make that) and some variation of TIE for the other two? That work?

Now that I'm not on my phone, I will also volunteer to run a dunk tank game should anyone else volunteer (which would basically just be everyone getting dunked all the time because pretty much everyone here has Force powers which makes it easy). Let it be noted that anyone who successfully dunks me will have a date with me in the Rancor Pit

I'll go easy on you skyguy... Nah I'll only duel those who cheat (ie use the Force) to dunk me. But there should be other dunkees, I don't want to be the only wet one. I'm really not all that much to look at, even when wet.

 

I'll be dunkin victim! I'm probably not going to be here at all for most of April 4th - 6th. But I'd be happy to participate on all other dates

 

I on the other hand won't be a dunkee. I'm not much to look at, and cold/wet don't do good things for my lungs
