I'd say extend the Order 66 and see more Jedi die, longer duels, etc....

Yoda vs Dooku, should be longer

 

Re-insert the scenes of Anakin fighting Greedo and Qui-Gon finding Darth Maul's tracking droids in TPM, and the scene where Jocasta talks about Dooku with Obi-Wan while looking at his bust in AOTC.

Of any deleted scenes, those are the three I miss the most.

 

I'd really want the deleted scenes from AOTC put back in, especially the stuff with Padme's family. The inclusion of those scenes would have gone a long way towards humanizing Padme and Anakin since it's a rare, private moment. I also would like to see a little more Yoda/Dooku action.

 

I agree with you. I also love those scenes because they show us Luke and Leia's extended family.

 

It's a nice little scene with a nice little moral, but it did kinda feel like they were shoehorning Greedo in a little just because he's an OT character.

 

True, but I like the scene because it shows Anakin's susceptibility to anger, even from a young age.

 

The Rebellion scenes, The plot against the Jedi and Dagobah for ROTS
Kamino dart, Lost 20 scene, Padme's family, the trial scenes etc. for AOTC

 

Agree with GGrievous, that would have destroyed the plot of the Force Unleashed video game.

 

Delete the mixing of C-3PO and the battle droid in AOTC.

 

I'd make all the battle droids sound like they did in TPM. They were so much more scary when they didn't have personalities!

 

Edit the hell out of the Phantom Menace. It really drags. Cut a lot of the Jar Jar scenes or at least trim them (or him out of them). An added scene of Maul and Sidious might make the movie more interesting.

AOTC - Get rid of the C3PO switching bodies with the battle droid bit. The comedy relief attempt does not work. Trim some of the awful romance scenes. Get rid of the droid assembly line scene all together. Put back in the mock trial headed by Dooku.

 

I agree that there should be an added Maul and Sidious scene but I wouldn't edit TPM. I enjoy the pace of it. The slowest part for me is the underwater city on Naboo. But that doesn't take up too much of the movie.

I agree the 3PO humor falls flat. So cut those out, but insert some more awesome droid factory and arena battle scenes in to make up for it!

 

At least cut out Anakin trapped on the conveyor belt. That was so dumb.

 

Oh sweeeeeet lord, how did I forget Plo Koon a Ki Adi Mundi's droid control ship raid?! THAT would have kicked ass!

 

That would have been cool especially with showing them that the droids could still work after it was shut down.

 

Plus it would have shown that they actually learnt something from the Battle of Naboo. I wish they could have at least finished the special effects off for the Blu Ray deleted scenes!

The Droid Control Ship seen was pointless, slowed the pace down, took away from the plot, and was in the script only for Jedi fanboys. I would have cut it too.

And it wasn't pointless. It would have shown they learnt from the Battle of Naboo and were trying to deactivate the droids, and it wouldn't have slowed the pace - the droid control raid scenes were really fast and action packed so it would have only added to the excitement and scale of the battle. Yeah it would have pleased the Jedi fanboys but it would have been if it was included in the movie.

 

In RotS, this scene is in the novel: Lorth Needa (in ESB) talks to Grievous to negotiate Palpatine's release

 

Yeah, I wasn't thinking, scene. And no, it would have drastically slowed down the pace.

 

I know it wasn't filmed but that's the sort of thing that would be cool to see on an 'ultimate edition' kind of DVD/Blu Ray
