Discussion Will episode 7 has credits at the begining?

I remember hearing years back that Lucas refused to have credits at the beginning of the SW movies and Hollywood went up in arms about it, but as the Star Wars films were actually in theory independent movies he could get away with it.
Now that Disney owns Star Wars, will we be getting credits at the beginning? Or will Disney and JJ keep with the flavour of Star Wars and still manage to keep credits off at the beginning?

 

How far should one go back though?
Looking at all the topics currently shown on the first page I've seen topics which cover pretty much the same thing from months ago!

Don't really think it will... Disney won't dear screw up the traditional "A long time ago" will they? Anyhow since Star Wars was released it has become more common to have the credits at the end, don't you watch movies?

 

I can not even remember the last movie I saw with the credits at the start of the movie

Hell, most action movies don't even have the credits to open with anymore - I doubt Star Wars, the first one to start that, will.

Star Wars 7 will start right with the action. Want to know the characters? Get online.

 

Not even James Bond opens with a credit anymore they just jump right into the action leaving the barrel role for the end.

 

Republic Credits? Republic credits are no good out here. I need something more real.

How about a film that doesn't have credits at the ending either? It's actually all shown during the middle of the movie as a sort of intermission?

 

I propose that whenever a character appears onscreen for the first time in Episode 7 there is a zoom in on his or her face and freeze frame for a couple of seconds while on one side of the screen in huge letters appear:

JOE BLOW (real name)​

as​

JOE SKYWALKER (character name)​

Nope. Can you name me a big-budget action film of the past couple of years that even has opening credits? It's true that Lucas was fined millions of dollars for refusing to put credits at the beginning of TESB, but that was 1980. Things have changed.
