I have seen a few of my friends births. I am so glad I am getting married to a man that doesn't want children because I walked around cross-legged after seeing those disasters. More power to women who do it, they are braver then I am.

I read "virgin" as "vegan". In either case, the answer is no. I love animals, especially with barbecue sauce and a nice vino.

 

Both of my sisters had to have C-sections. It's weird to think they both might have died in childbirth if they'd lived 100 years ago or whatever...

What is a born again virgin

 

I am baptized and I have not had sex. I guess that qualifies me.

Someone who is repentant of previous sexual activity and has made a special commitment never to have sex again until they get married.

It's a result of American Christians' unhealthy obsession with virginity. Basically, many American Christians have this idea that someone's worth as a potential partner for marriage is significantly decreased if they've "given up their purity". That's why manual sex and oral sex are so common among many religious young people, because they have this view that even though those things are sinful, if they can just be technically a virgin, it makes it better somehow. In addition to objectifying people, this sort of attitude also has the result of making people who have "fallen" feel like it doesn't matter and they proceed to continue to have pre-marital sex with whomever they happen to date. "Born again virginity" was invented to make people who'd lost their oh-so-precious virginity feel better, and encourage them not to fall into that pattern of thought and behavior.

On the whole, I think it's pretty ridiculous and showcases some of the reasons that chastity has been such a dramatic failure among American Christian communities. People aren't objects that are only valuable if they've never been touched. This attitude towards human sexuality is pretty damn unhealthy in my opinion, and not at all effective at preventing unchaste behavior.

That's rarely medically indicated. It actually heals better if you let it tear. You only cut if the baby is going to asphyxiate.
