Signed. I would love to see Obi Wan's adventures on Tatooine.

They should make a movie where Obi-Wan befriends a Krayt Dragon and has all sorts of adventures with it.

There's a great Ruth Baulding story on just that premise in fanfic. Terrific author, btw.

That could work. Although, I doubt they would cover the same ground in a movie that they are covering in the Clone Wars cartoon. The question would also remain, what would they do about Qui-Gon Jin?

I wouldn't mind seeing a film explore Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon's pre-TPM mission to protect Satine from the Mandalorians.

I signed it. I am for it primarily because we have a gifted actor willing to do it. It would possible explain why Uncle Owen called him a crazy old wizard :D. I am sure Owen saw some stuff that scared him.

Saw Jack the Giant Slayer. McGregor says in one scene
“I’m getting an awfully bad feeling about this,”
which I hope is not the closest we get to ever seeing him play Obi-Wan Kenobi again. Just hearing him say that made me want the Obi-Wan spin off.

How was Jack the Giant Slayer? Is it worth watching for other than Ewan?

Don't we have like 6,789 other Ewan McGregor threads on the boards?

I didn't like it but didn't absolutely hate it. It's bad but not gawdawful. Last 30 minutes are decent, and you see the odd moment here and there scattered about of Bryan Singer's directing prowess. Stanley Tucci is a hoot and he elevates any moment he's in it, and even has a good bit or two with McGregor. McGregor is in it sparsely so if you're running late don't sweat it.

Aww I was hoping Ewan was a main character sounds to me he's like Jack Nicholson in "A Few good men" everybody gives him huge credit for being in it but you really don't see him that much.

Well, maybe I undersold it, he's certainly in it more than Nicholson is in "A Few Good Men". I'd say McGregor is almost the 2nd lead (it's a toss up between him and the princess). But McGregor himself doesn't exactly pop up until the first 8 minutes or so in "Jack". Put McGregor at the same amount of screentime that Han Solo has in ANH and you'd be about right.
