I am a massive DC fangirl. I tried to do Marvel after the movie because I loved Hawkeye so much, but it didn't work out. It was a love affair that wasn't meant to be.
Batman and John Stewart Green Lantern will always have my heart. [face_love]

JediYvette, you literally named 2 of the only 3 interesting characters in all of DC. Marvel has hundreds.

But but but Sandman is Vertigo and Vertigo is DC. Though 1602 did rock my socks too...

DC may own Vertigo, but I give Vertigo's credit to Vertigo and not DC. I don't really count it as the same thing, it's just a legal connection.

Hasn't DC sent Batman to hell a couple of times already?

For movies: Marvel. Especially since Iron Man when everything's been leading up to The Avengers. And now with Avengers 2 and S.H.I.E.L.D on the way, DC has a long way to go to catch them.

For Comics: DC. I'd never read any Marvel or DC except for the occasional trade, but DC's New 52 made it really easy for me to get into. Granted, after trying around a dozen titles, the only monthlies I read are Batwoman and Wonder Woman, but that's two more than the number of Marvel titles I read each month, ha.

I like them both - I think it's stupid to declare arbitrary loyalty to a label.

    Especially when Image is best.

I agree on Nightwing and Batman of that list. I should qualify that DC does have some fantastic villains.

And the villians are more iconic...unfortunately most of them are known as being Batman's....

edit: DC FTW. I watched Batman, Justice League, Teen Titans, BATB...marvel never had that appeal. Still doesn't.

I tend to like both, though lately DC has had my interested due to the New 52 reboot I can't really decide between the two.

Both have good aspects as well as bad.
