this has been suggested by friends irl. one person has also suggested i wear too much plaid and jeans when i go out dancing but i thought that just made me look rockabilly, not mormon. also i have had it suggested that i go without an undershirt when i dance to show off my chest hair/prove im not wearing temple garments, but i need the undershirt so i dont sweat through to the outer layer cuz that's gross

okedokey, the day is upon us and last night i asked the woman from the OP if i come off mormon at all. her answer was "yeah, a little bit" and i asked her why she thought that was. her answer was that i "seem to really care about what people have to say..." at which point i made my eyes comically wide and began laying into her for mormon chauvanism -- "what?! so non-mormons dont care about people? is THAT what you're saying?!" i probably should have let her answer further for the sake of social science/this thread, but i never expected her to state as bald-facedly that, essentially, because she thought i was a nice person i couldnt possibly be a gentile
