I was worried there for a minute.

 

While shaving the other day, I let a goatee remain. Naturally, I had to take the opportunity to do a DeNiro Goodfellas-ish mob face.

Although, DeNiro doesn't actually have a goatee in Goodfellas... He does in Heat, though.

 

I hate your hair out of pure jealousy.

 

Don't worry, I'll be looking like you soon. My hairline is receding.

 

I'm terrified of a receding hairline. My dad has a bald spot and thin hair, but I remember hearing that it's determined by the x-chromosome (which is why less women go bald). So my mom's brother has a receding hairline and my younger (!!!!) brother does. As far as I can tell it hasn't started yet. I have a high forehead, but I've always been freakish like that.

Mine isn't receding, but it's thinning up top. I hate that.

This is why I'm letting it grow long until it becomes so noticeable that it's thinning I'll have no choice but to shave my head and tattoo it.

My uncles from my mother's side don't have significant hair loss, so I assumed/hoped that I'd retain my hair. My dad's hairline started receding in his twenties, though, and mine's started too, so I suppose I've inherited my dad's bad genes. I had a better run than him, though; count your blessings and all that.

 

My hairline has pretty much been that way for as long as I recall.

 

If it stays like that, that's pretty good. My father's all bald now (he's 50). Consider yourself lucky.

My dad was bald by age 30. My hair is still hanging in there at age 37. A little thinner and receded, but still there.

 

I've got baldness on both sides of the family conspiring against me.
