Absolutely yes! I can defeat Darth Revan, Sith Emperor Vitiate or Emperor Palpatine to save the Skyriver galaxy and rule the Galactic Republic together with Jaina Solo on my side.

EDIT: Incidentally, I still prefer Corusca.

I would go for it. I've always liked swords and the art of using them. It would be so much better if it were a lightsaber.

I've always been interested in the art of sword fighting so I'd love to do it :)

Sure. It would be fun to learn other uses for a lightsaber beyond bug-zapper and can opener. :p

My answer would be no, though I also love the art of sword fighting and find it fascinating. I am a black belt in Kumdo, the Korean art of the sword, and though I love to practice and learn and will continue to do so I would never want to be in a situation where I would have to fight with it.

I have a healthy respect for the sword, and enjoying the learning and practice of its use is far different from wanting to engage in an actual fight with it.

All it takes is one clean cut for an arm, leg, or head to become detached. One mistake, one slip, and your life is over. That is something I can do without.

Done it with sticks in Jedi robes......note to shorter people, tall men struggle to protect their legs and feet. ;)

Well maybe sticks are kinda different from lightsabers... I think they could even be more dangerous but who knows.

Yes, but I would like to have The Force to go with it or else I might accidentally lose one of my own limbs.

I think I would prefer a blaster over a lightsaber. "Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid."- Han Solo
That did happen once. I remember reading about it, but I cannot remember who caused the injury and who was injured.
I think Anakin Skywalker/Anakin Solo or Jacen Solo once accidentely sliced off a limb or a hand of another student, but I cannot remember all of it.

Jacen Solo and Tenel Ka were sparring for the first time and Tenel Ka's lightsaber broke and Jacen's saber cut her arm off. Tenel Ka's saber was hastily made or something so it broke.

Ah ha! Thank you for helping me remember it!
Lightsaber practice is pretty dangerous. It probably happens all the time, only they do not show it to us.

You're welcome! It was the YJK novel Lightsabers as well. In the OJO the padawans used training sabers that only stung if they hurt you. No idea about Luke's Order.

Well, Luke probably did not get that far... ;)
    Hopefully, he had an insurance...

Starting a new Jedi Academy creates so many problems. Certainly, when there not many Jedi around.
When are students actually old enough to pratice with a real lightsaber? Where do they sleep? What do they eat?
Are they allowed to part the academy for some time? Etc.

Hahaha lol. Yeah. Luke's Order of 12 at the beginning was a bit much in the JAT I thought. I love that trilogy but that is problematic. Who knows. Mara left.

If I could do it well, then yes, but I like my limbs and I don't like the idea of cutting other people's off. :p
