If you're into her, her name is Zoe. She's married to my first college roommate, Angel, and they've formed a great band called "Looner."

    "Half Baked"

To where, when I became quite upset after learning that a crush of mine did drugs, I put on the movie.
Yeah, I'm sometimes a walking contradiction.

Grandma's Boy: An utterly terrible film without any sort of plot that's also one of the funniest films of the 2000's. It gets so increasingly and ridiculously stupid that you just have to appreciate it for the sheer insanity. It's like something out of one of Hunter S. Thompson's delusional nightmares. I mean, it has a stoned monkey driving people to work for chrissakes.

Yes, Grandma's Boy is truly hysterical. SPOILER below, to those who haven't already seen this:

One of the many reasons I found it so funny was when the main character lied to his work buddies & told them he was living with three hot babes instead of the truth, i.e. that he was forced to move in with his grandmother and her two elderly friends. What's especially hilarious about this is that it rings true; I know there are people out there who exagerrate/lie about things to make themselves look/sound better, but in many cases you may never find out what's actually going on ;)

I also really enjoyed 1980's Flash Gordon, and, as a kid, remember seeing it in the theatre back in the day. Excellent, campy film - I like the character designs, action scenes, etc. At one time, I even used to have the old 45 record with the theme song. The DVD that came out back in the late 200X's (with the painted cover by artist Alex Ross) is amazing.

Also really liked Indiana Jones & the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, despite all of the haters. Great come-back by HF as IJ, and the '50's setting was great.

Never saw Congo - I avoided it since I really liked the Michael Crichton novel, and felt the movie wouldn't hold up (with the exception of Jurassic Park, I haven't really liked any of the filmed adaptations of MC's books).

Hang on, why would you feel guilty about Clue? That's not a bad movie. There's nothing wrong with Clue. Clue is fantastic.

    Moonstruck.

And yes, Sixteen Candles. I'll watch a Molly Ringwald film once in awhile just for nostalgia's sake, ditto with Andrew McCarthy.

I see your Sixteen Candles and raise you The Breakfast Club.

I think the former, since the character doesn't seem to show up in any other versions of Flash Gordon after doing a Google search.

You know what's hilarious? Someone just recommended to me on Facebook to watch Moonstruck because I made the photo of Nic Cage as Pope as my newest cover photo.
