Discussions Distance from Senate Dome to Jedi Temple

Hey guys, just needed some quick info if that's all right. I'm trying to figure out the distance between the Jedi Temple and the Senate building on Coruscant, and this would be old Republic time frame, circa 3600 BBY.
Exact grid coordinates aren't necessary if it's never been specifically mentioned, but where they fairly close to each other or were they in separate areas of the planet?

There are no such informations, sadly in Star Wars planets are often treated like towns. For only a handful of few planets surface maps have been made, even the Essential Atlas does not feature planetary cartography.

Besides, like many fictional cities and town (Duckburg, Sunnydale etc.) Galactic City's geography is very inconsistent. Look at several comics featuring the Jedi Temple or Senate Building from the same time frame, you soon will find out the space around them is somehow different in many times, say buildings around them looking other than they did before, standing at new positions etc.

And I'm not sure what Galactic/Imperial City is. Sometimes it's the name of the city covering Coruscant's entire surface, and in many sources just the Senat district.

Also we got several numbers for Coruscant's size, Essential Atlas mentions 12,240 km, Coruscant and the Core Worlds ~16,000, the movies indicates ~17,000 km (see TF.N Technical Commentaries) and an older world (TIE Fighter video game?) 18,000 km. This is a difference range of 6,000 km diameter and 470 million to 1 billion km² surface area.

Besides size, the official population of 1 billion is far to low, if we take the lowest diameter, still the planet would have just 2,000 people per km². The most densely populated country on Earth, Bangladesh, has ~1000 people per km² living in it, and is not near to being completely covered in cities build upon artificial structures.
