Yeah, I think he wouldn't want to but he'd definitely consider it. Though it's harder than after last week where she proved herself as capable of being a team player.

 

Rick is a cop. He knows the Governor's type. He knows he's a conman.

He didn't fall for any of the Governor's “I'm your friend” tricks in their encounter. He knows about the heads, about the gladiatorial battles, about Maggie.

Rick might fantasize about giving away Michonne, but there is no way he would seriously consider it, because he knows the Governor is a conman.

That is, there is no way he would consider it if the character were being written consistently...

 

He knows the Governor is full of ****, he showed that in the scene with Herschel, but at the same time he's also thinking: "Well what if he is telling the truth?" Logically there's no good reason not to hand over Michonne. If he doesn't, the Governor will attack. If he does, he may well still attack but there's a minuscule possibility he won't.

 

If he hands her over, he's short a hand when the Governor inevitably attacks.

 

Glad to see the Governor prepping the rape room. Didn't think we would see it. But I think it fits better during this part of the story rather than if they did it similar to the comic.

 

Andrea could've stolen the Governor's truck!! Gaaaah I am so frustrated.

 

Andrea has struck me as being the most consistently stupid character on the show ever since season 1-ish. The part of me that disdains rampant stupidity is somewhat pleased that she's getting what her stupidity deserves.

Should have listened to Carol. Idiot.

And should have listened to Michonne before that. Moron.

 

I kind of want to see more Carol. Mebbe next season.

 

BTW, was it just me or did the building where the climax occur feature the graffiti "Joker" on one wall near the entrance and then "Ha! Ha!" on the last wall near the exit?

 

Has the show called it that, or is that a comic book spoiler?

 

I'm hoping that maybe we get Carol taking on the role Andrea plays later in the comics (minus the Rick-related part, Daryl is a better match for many reasons) for next season and beyond. It would be a different dynamic to play out.

Up there with 'Clear' as the best episode this season. Fantastic stuff.

 

I was kinda in and out on lasts night episode, I need to rewatch it. Did they reveal who burned the zombies? My money is on Milton but I missed some of it.

 

Never said. But Milton seems to be the only logical answer.

 

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it was Martinez.

nah, Milton has to be a red herring.

I thought it was Allen (the jerk with the son), since he hates Tyreese so much and would benefit from framing him.

But now that I am writing this, I think it was probably the son. Allen is too useless, and it seems like something a teenager would do to help his dad...

 

The goal of that jerk is to stay in the town. Burning the zombies would run counter to that goal. It's Milton. And the Governor knows it.

 

why would milton do that? It's not like there aren't a million more zombies.
