    31. Stormy
The stormy weather was perfect for the director and his accomplishes to plan the demise of his wood-factory. Careful placed extra shaped charges in a factory that was about to be demolished were the trigger for a devastating fire. The storm aided the fire, created a firestorm and had the wood-factory going up in blazes.
The arsonist had assured that no one would be present at the time the extra shaped charges started the destruction.
But there were children playing in the old factory. Two girls were playing with their dolls. And four boys had listened eagerly to a teacher.

    32. Trapped
The boys had planned an experiment and when the soft whoosh of an explosion was heard they surmised that it was their experiment. But seeing flames the boys realised that they were trapped and escaped to the only place free of fire being the restaurant where the two girls were playing. But stairs were blocked. They were trapped. Hollering for help they managed to get the attention of three men running on the forestroad. One man – Jehna Er-San – managed to save the children by making a slide. But escaping the factory he became trapped when all the shaped charges detonated.

    33. Escape
The children had – with the help from Jehna – managed to escape.
Jehna Er-San’s colleague Aradan Mirdees and arriving firefighters began to attack the rubble where Jehna was trapped. Dunai elder used the Force to free Jehna. Medics – all friends and colleagues from Jehna – helped to carry him to safety.
But Jehna refused help. He was reliving a dream from long ago where he had seen two men – brothers and friends – fighting on a fiery planet. He was fighting against his rescuers. He could become insane.
Desperate action was taken to make treatment possible.
Three friends robbed Jehna of the Force.

    34. Rescue
Quick action from friends and firefighters had made the rescue of Jehna possible.
Incident commander Ivano Arvedai sensed immediately what the rescue had cost to Lionel Keranan – one of his men and like him a Dunai elder – and relieved him of his work. And he sensed more. Lionel and his husans would be a great help for Jehna in the future.
And Ivano had ideas too. Long ago he had received help from Jedi healers when he had rescued a Jedi padawan, trapped with her master in a factory fire on Coruscant.
Jehna had a long way ahead to recover.

    35. Recover
Jehna had to recover from his serious injuries and he had to regain the Force. All his midi-chlorians were dead or dieing due to the desperate action of his friends.
A Jedi-healer came with a bright idea. Jehna would receive midi-chlorians from his father and he would join Aaqu and Marhin getting Force lessons from Kaagi.
Jehna – remembering his dream – was the key to discover who had been behind the disaster that started with a shaped charge explosion, stormy weather and a firestorm. He had heard two explosions before the detonation.
Ivano Arvedai could expose the director of the wood-factory.

    36. Mistakes
Intentional mistakes were made by Anka Dynarsk, the master healer of the Jeditemple healers’ ward when the senior padawan came back from the mission to Hamalk.
A visit to Korriban, coming into contact with a globule and a man named Ren Dooku had her falling to the Dark side. And she knew – after hearing the seducing song of the globule – who she had to slay when she felt who witnessed the contact she had with her lover.
Padawan Kaagi Adin became her willing victim. She was instrumental in sending him to Hamalk. She was annoyed when he returned severely injured.

    37. Corrections
Healer Anka Dynarsk made sure that she was the first to see Kaagi. A nurse helping her would become her second victim. She made subtle corrections in the memories of the padawan when she was preparing him for surgery. He would have no knowledge about her manipulations. She made mistakes during the procedures.
One mistake was soon discovered by Kaagi’s friends and corrected. A second mistake almost cost Kaagi his life. The third mistake would remain hidden for a long time. A selfless gift from Kaagi would trigger the mistake, save his life and have him regaining his full memory.

    38. Prank
Kaagi playing a prank when he regained consciousness gave his friends and master the assurance that his mind was undamaged. But he had to learn things anew.
And healer Anka Dynarsk didn’t notice the prank at all. She was sure that her mistakes would kill the padawan and left with a nurse the Jeditemple when a message from her new master – Darth Plagueis – had her beginning her new life as the wife of Ren Dooku.
Anka Dynarsk would disappear. Darth Dynonychus would emerge and would go on a hunt for more Rakata artifacts to reveal the secret of the globule.

    39. Sabotage
Eager as Darth Dynonychus was to reveal the secret of the globule and unaware that the designer of the globule – the Rakata warrior Shaurkoo – had planned hideous traps to sabotage the revelation of the messages recorded in the globule she took a quest that led her back to Korriban to unearth another crystal and a map to reveal where other crystals were hidden.
Rakooine revealed another crystal and the planet Kreyfon, home of the animal experiments done by Shaurkoo.
Darth Plagueis was pleased by the progress of his apprentice and the found artifacts. He had a way to cheat death.

    40. Revenge
Shaurkoo had planned his revenge for the one who discovered the crystal on Kreyfon. First there were the creatures to slay with the Arka-bugs, small Kreyfon spiders and worms the lesser evil. Sand-eels and a winged Darrin proved more of a challenge for Darth Dynonychus.
The large Kreyfon spider protecting the sought third crystal in the central ovoid was her doom.
Anka lost her leg. Kreyfon destructed.
Globule and crystals enslaved Anka and Ren Dooku.
Their son – Count Dooku – was to be the one to reveal the secret of the globule giving the Death Star, the ultimate weapon of revenge.

    41. Enemy
For Jedi healer Kaagi Adin the enemy was often a virus or bacteria remaining in a patient’s blood or wound or innards. He had one particular nasty bacterial enemy to battle when he was caring for Ivano Arvedai, a civilian firefighter. The man had come into contact with the Sonim bacteria, designed by the Sith Count Doolu, when he was searching for victims in the Glyvos factory after a fire-alert had directed his unit to that place. Despite being severely injured firefighter Arvedai had managed to save Lanei Setiquiyak a Jedi padawan when he carried her to a waiting medevac.

    42. Attack
The attack on the bacteria was done with an invention made by Jeki Eki an old Dorophin Jedi serving in the Jedi intel department in the workplace of L’lacielo Sageon. Almost simultaneously Jeki Eki and Kaagi came with the results for the bacteria.
Jeki Eki had searched on the holonet and had found a way to deliver the treatment and he gave the first batch with beads – to be applied in the wound where the bacteria was flourishing – to his superior to deliver to Kaagi.
Kaagi had now a way to battle that infection but he discovered dead midi-chlorians too.

    43. Negotiate
Before Aaqu Maerhin, Alco Bel Kais and Kaagi Adin could save Ivano Arvedai they met some more trouble.
Aaqu had to negotiate with Ivano to keep him on the stretcher. The firefighter was afraid that the Jedi would draft him into their services and he was unaware that he was severely injured.
And Kaagi had – after his fight with the stubborn firefighter – to negotiate with Alco to keep Ivano after the surgery in the IC-ward of the Jeditemple.
Alco visited firechief Joe Calistro to discuss the faulty masks and boots, expected some negotiations but ended up discussing a common interest.

    44. Truce
Obi-Wan Kenobi and Siri Tachi had been involved in the Glyvos mission. And that suited Obi-Wan because he wanted to keep Siri in the Jeditemple for her upcoming birthday.
A meeting with Kaagi when eating fruit in Serinka’s restaurant led to an idea for a present.
Kaagi remarked that he had to be carefull with the fruit seeds and muddy beard. He might grow a tree-beard.
And Siri liked fruit trees and flowers.
But Obi-Wan had to use all his negotiating skills and created a subtle truce to distract Siri from finding out what he was planning as a gift.

    45. Friend
Helping his friend crèche master Rian Solma to care for the initiates had Obi-Wan with more trying to avoid Siri’s questions about her gift. But he managed.
Siri was only a bit surprised when three potted plants sporting all beautiful Nephril flowers were given to her for her birthday.
And the big surprise was a candlelight dinner for two after a snowball fight in the garden near the healers’ ward. A garden shed became their cozy place to dine, love and sleep.
For the two Jedi – friends since their padawan days – the war was that evening and night far away.

    46. Sky
Tearstained eyes were gazing up to the crimson sky. He had felt it as if he was there following Magus, Taly, Siri, Obi-Wan and Padmé. He had seen blasterfire from Magus hitting Siri. He had seen the disbelief on Obi-Wan’s face when Siri wanted him to stay with her. He had seen Obi-Wan taking a crystal from Siri’s belt, pressing it into her hands but getting it back with the words ‘now I will never leave you’
He had heard her final words ‘don’t worry so much’ and had felt the grief from Obi-Wan.
He was Dunai elder Ivano Arvedai.

    47. Sun(s)
The sun was painting that sky crimson reflecting in the ocean of Lingala. Tears running freely Ivano limped into the water when he spotted one of the Lingalans he had come to like so much. They had told him about their history, they had helped him to recover and they had taken him on rides through the waves, careful and gentle when he was still recovering and exhilarating and wild when he could hold on to their dorsal fin with more strength.
He held his hand against the face of the Lingalan and mumbled “Siri and Obi-Wan were my friends.”

    48. Moon(s)
‘You have told me why you had to stay in the Jeditemple but tell me again,’ the Lingalan mindtalked.
“I was in the Glyvos factory with my mate Roland Kadecek,” Ivano began and told all about the rescue, his reluctance to stay in the healers’ ward and the bond of the soul that he felt between Obi-Wan and Siri resulting in a gift of Nephril flowers on Siri’s birthday.
‘You know that Siri will never leave Obi-Wan. One in the eternity they will be, pure light like the silvery sun.’
“Or like the moon,” Ivano pointed to the rising moon.

    49. Stars
A shuttle was dropping out of hyperspace in the middle of nowhere.
Ivano Arvedai had planned the two jumps that would take him from Lingala to his home planet Moniron. He grinned when he saw the stars of the galaxy way down. He was told that the shortcut from Lingala to Moniron was nowhere, a set of coordinates in empty space.
The light of the stars reminded him of that evening now two months ago when he had – like five days ago – talked to the Lingalan. “Siri, you are the light to guide Obi-Wan. Be there in these dark days.”

    50. Lightning
Tearstained eyes looked towards the lead coloured ocean with the clouds darkening the sky and obscuring the setting sun. Lightning was striking down.
For Ivano the weather was very fitting for what he felt. Thousands of lives were silenced. Souls were becoming one with the eternity.
Ivano had known some of those beings when he was staying with the Jedi and sniffed softly. But he felt that some Jedi were alive. One – Obi-Wan Kenobi – had a duty to fulfill.
“You will be united with Siri. Let the bond of the soul be your guiding light in this galaxy gone dark.”

Thank you all for your kind words and now let's have some fun with the next set

    51. Fun
Jedi healer Kaagi Adin liked to make fun out of almost everything. In his work in the healers’ ward of the Jeditemple he met enough serious sorrow and pain and had to cope with life threatening situations and even the passing away of Jedi in the Force. For him a trying procedure in the OT was always followed with a fight between his colleagues – eager to release the tension too – with whatever he could find in the scrubroom. Water was always the main ingredient. Waddled up used blue gloves were Kaagi’s trademark and to be found everywhere after the fight.

    52. Play
Kaagi used those blue balls – blue mayhem called by colleagues who found them sticking to their cleaned laundry when they were forgotten – to start the scrubroom fight. He bounced them – with an innocent look on his youthful face – over the doors of the changing cubicles and waited for the inevitable result. The ball came bouncing back with a shout ‘Kaagi Adin wanting to play; let’s get him’ and the healer shouting that coming more or less dressed out of that cubicle.
Kaagi’s closest friends Aaqu Maerhin and Jadin Finn knew every trick and introduced new healers soon to the play.

    53. Laugh
Sponges, towels, discarded robes, water-bottles and plastform syringes were used by the healers leading to laughter and sometimes to – after a very trying and long procedure – using those towels and robes to get comfortable where ever the healer dropped down after the fight to start getting some rest and relaxation followed by a long sleep.
Finding Kaagi asleep in the scrubroom brought a smile on many faces.
Master Yoda laughed when he found Kaagi and made sure that the healer was comfortable. He remembered the time when padawan Adin had fun with water in the garden of a thousand fountains.

    54. Games
“Games you played and helped you to become the healer you are,” Master Yoda laughed softly and floated a fluffy terry towel on the sleeping Kaagi. A towel folded to form a pillow for Kaagi led to another discovery.
Master Yoda held the item in his hand. “Jeki Eki designer of squirting water fountain he was after seeing you with game of chasing water squirted out of a large plastform syringe. Now fountain used by initiates to learn about unpredictability of appearing water. Great lesson it is. Children right they have to play and do games. Laughter it will bring.”

    55. Vacation(holiday ect)
Leaving the scrubroom and the sleeping Kaagi in his comfortable towel-bed Master Yoda headed with the plastform syringe to the exit of the healers’ ward. He had now a weapon to retaliate when he met one of the initiates going on a field trip. He knew that one trip was scheduled the coming week.
Jedi didn’t do vacations but the field-trip for initiates with their crèche masters and teachers to Lingala was. Sleeping in tents in the wilderness, rides on husans and with powerboats, swimming in the azure ocean with Lingalans, all led to a holiday feeling for all involved.

After the fun in the last five drabbles an introduction of a new character when he is found by the Jedi
Jesin Fialka will be one of the characters in a new fic I am writing

    56. See
    “Master Sol-Bonaydara! See a doll!”

“No Irina,” crèche-master Sol-Bonaydara bent down to peek inside the wreck of the landspeeder that had obviously crashed hours ago in the remote area of the Ifaan National Park where the group of Jedi caretakers and their charges – four year old initiates – were on a hike during the – for the initiates – first fieldtrip. “Master Perion, help me!”

Master Perion – feeling the urgency coming from his senior – rushed towards the wreck and saw what the initiate had seen and more.
There were two adults unmoving and a baby that was now opening his eyes to see.

    57. Hear
“Ekiway is coming. Take Irina to the others and I will free the baby,” Jedi knight and sportsmaster Benno Perion whispered only for the crèche master to hear when he heard the soft rustling of leaves indicating that the third caretaker on the trip – Master Ekiway – was coming nearer with the group. Even for Jedi initiates what Benno had to do was too grisly to see. He had to free the baby and hoped to do that without injuring the child. That the baby was alive was for Benno a surprise when he saw the state the landspeeder was in.

    58. Touch
“Come Irina,” Master Sol-Bonaydara stood up as fast as his old frame allowed and hurried with the initiate to where he heard the giggle and excited talk of the other initiates and the bass voice of gardener Ekiway explaining something.

    “Touch that leaf Wodin.”

    “It is prickly master Ekiway.”

Benno gave a nod and started to work. He gave a relieved sigh when he had freed the baby causing no injury at all and had it wrapped in his cloak.
He had touched the man and woman briefly and had felt no Force signature. They were one with the Force.

    59. Sense
Touching the now crying baby softly on his forehead Benno sensed a strong Force signature. And his Jedi sense told him that the Force had led them to this baby.

“Lead the group back to the camping ground.”

“I will and see you soon.”

Benno saw Master Sol-Bonaydara coming back and gave him the baby. The aged crèche-master was a natural caring for the very young.

“I will take him to our camp,” Master Sol-Bonaydara had the child soon comfortable and sleeping.

“I can take care of this,” Benno was now free to get his comlink and contact the authorities.

    60. Smell
Master Sol-Bonaydara expected Master Yoda but was in a hurry. He had the baby in his arms and felt something wet starting to soak his tunics. “Our trip was cut short when we found Jesin Fialka. We have to get him to the healers’ ward for examination.”

“New initiate welcome to the Jedi he is,” Master Yoda touched the forehead of the baby briefly. “Master Sol-Bonaydara smell I do something.”

“Jesin Fialka needs a change and that can be done in the healers’ ward. My detailed report will have to wait.” And the aged crèche-master hurried towards the waiting elevator.
