Discussion Brothers against each other

Hey all, been thinking alot about the new trilogy (as we all do, of course) and came up with an idea that fits in my mind with all kinds of tidbits and half rumors I've been hearing.

What if the focus of the new trilogy will be 2 Skywalker brothers (male and female for full dramatic effect) who find themselves opposing each other from both sides of the force, perhaps on a quest to defeat a greater external evil ?
One of them will focus on the teachings of Luke and staying true to the Light Side while the other decides to "fight fire with fire" (maybe even finding some misinformed inspiration in Anakin). It will have the continuation of the family line incorporating the corruption/staying pure motifs of the former trilogies with new twists on the notions of good and evil (as akin to what Lucas said about the third trilogy being more blurry on the sides of right vs wrong).

What you guys think ?

Male and female Skywalker brothers? I'm intrigued!

 

We already saw a 'sibling' rivalry in the prequels with Obi-Wan and Anakin. Sure, they weren't biologically brothers, but the impact was still the same. Also, I'd really rather we didn't have another character (a Skywalker or otherwise) falling to the Dark Side be a major plot point. We already did that with Anakin; we don't need to retell that story with a new character. I absolutely love uncovering parallels and motifs and repetitions that link the two trilogies together (like the imagery posted in the 'Visual Links' thread in the Saga forum, for example), but I think another seduction by the Dark Side would just be too in your face...

 

Somewhat. I would like to see it expanded upon more. Plus, those were Solos.
