Still trying to figure out what kind of bird this is. It may be young which is why I'm having trouble. He's been hanging out on these trees at various times throughout the last several days.

I like taking photos of animals, but mostly birds. Here's a few photos I took of some eagles on the Gold Coast, Australia last year.

 

I'm really excited because we're going to go to DC next weekend to take pictures of the cherry blossoms! My camera is being stupid, however, and the line is back in my photos so I'm kinda bummed about that. I'm going to do an experiment later to see if it is just in Sport mode or if it is on all of the modes. I took these with my phone because I'm so crabby about my camera.(Some geese at the park today.)

You should take some owl pictures, too

 

If there's a line in your photos, it most likely has something to do with your sensor. The "sport" mode is nothing more than a certain programmed setting for your ISO, aperture and shutter speeds.

I went to DC to see the Cherry Blossoms today. It was absolutely gorgeous. I can't even begin to describe how amazing it was to see in person.










This last one doesn't have to do with cherry blossoms but it is one of my favorites from today.

Well I use Camera+ instead of the regular camera app, since Camera+ lets me actually control the aperture, focus, and stuff.

 

I can't believe I never posted this pic from Italy last year (looked back and didn't see it).
