When will the real title be released?

I don't remember when the titles were released for the prequels. I did a little looking around and all I saw was someone kinda remembering the title "TPM" was made know about 6 months before the opening. Does that sound about right to anyone? If it does...boy are we in trouble!

TPM title was revealed September 2008 , AOTC August 2001 , ROTS July 2004 based on that June 2014 or in reality any time between July 2014 & September 2014..............

These are all titles i had tossed around for my ST. I remember Lucas saying that he has a tradition of using only 3 words in the title of the first installments, and 4 in the titles of the 2nd and 3rd.

 

These are good titles. "The Last Hope" is a title i had considered for episode 9 as well, along with "Victory of the Force".

 

TPM title was revealed in 2008? Are you sure about that?

 

I think it should have a three word title to maintain consistency. "A New Hope" "The Phantom Menace" .

 

Some good ideas in there. Legacy of Darkness stands out, like that one. I may be alone on this but I didn't like any of the PT titles. Revenge of the Sith was ok I suppose but it was too similar to Return of the Jedi. And I know the story of he was originally going to call it Revenge of the Jedi.

 

Yeah I know, I sometimes shock myself with the amount of bitterness I have over it!
