Lit Legacy Number Kriffing One, Baby: Prisoner of the Floating World

In light of tomorrow's release of Legacy Vol. 2, issue #1, I figured I would post a list of the top 5 things I hope to see/learn over the course of this new series:

1. The exact nature of the Galactic Federation Triumvirate and what sort of government it is.
2. The status of Dac and whether the restoration efforts are underway.
3. How Ania Solo ends up on a backwater world in the Outer Rim and what happened to her parents.
4. How the Jedi Order is aligned and reorganized as it emerges from the shadows.
5. Fleet battles.

Oh come on, you know that the fifth choice had to come up eventually.

I want to see if all 3 sides can work together. Not convinced it can work.

I would like for that dropped mando arc to be addressed from the first volume of legacy, but I doubt it will happen since this is a new story.

I just hope the series doesn't introduce and swiftly drop stuff due to being cancelled!

I read it but I'm disappointed, for an issue of introduction, I felt that the issue was empty. We don't learn much about characters and the background.

For me everything which was interesting was in the preview.

Information please

 

It was an ok introduction, but then Legacy #1 is a hard act to follow. Nowhere near as epic as Legacy #1 was of course, but I'm just excited to return to this era.

According to the page at the back, Ania is something like a distant cousin of Cade and just distant descendant of Han and Leia, and given the galaxy's forgetful nature, she's stuck almost at rock bottom (compared to Cade's eventful life)... when she finds a droid with a lightsaber inside. Otherwise she's kind of your normal fringe person dreaming of bigger things, only declaring her full name at the end. She's defiant, but she hasn't been fully swept up in events quite yet so we'll see how she reacts to that.

Also, for the Mon Cal fans, we find out a bit more about their situation after their homeworld was destroyed... it isn't pleasant, but I just like the worldbuilding and additional background of what happened to at least some of the Mon Cals.

Really happy to see Legacy back, now to see where it goes from here.

Shakes head... can't those idiots make their own without having to go after the one that belonged to their idol before he ended up in a suit of full ebony life support body armour?

 

That's why I want to see Anakin Solo's lightsaber used again. Haven't seen it since TUF.

I want a scene where they runa scan and admit first that she isn't a skywalker and then discover she's a descendant of Han Solo and they're genuinely more scared!

Other than Boba Fett? Actually nobody else...

 

Just finished reading, and I think it is a pretty good set up for the rest of the series. Nothing will top the original series but this is a good start. I think what people need to remember about this is that it's an ongoing series (so far) so there doesn't need to be a tremendous build up like with other series i.e. DoTJ or Agent of the Empire. They can take things slower.

 

Don't worry; if they lose the license I'm all geared up to blame Ben for trade-waiting.
