The PT doesn't show Jedi pooping either, are all Jedi constipated 24-7?? Why would it be relevant to the plot to see Mace Windu getting laid?

LMAO so if i understand GL's reasoning correctly then, honorable marriage with commitment and responsibility isn't allowed within the Jedi order; but anonymous sex and promiscuity is acceptable?! LOL, if so, it sounds to me like maybe the Jedi deserved what they got with Order 66!

Only if you believe people deserve to be executed for having anonymous sex and a lot of it.

It's possible nobody uses the bathroom in Star Wars, all you have to do is go with on screen. According to what's in the film, Jedi do not engage in any sort of amorous activity. Aside from Anakin. And he fell to the dark side. Therefore, since Anakin in a relationship = bad and Luke = good, saying that Luke would continue the celibate Jedi lifestyle in the ST is a fairly solid assumption.

First, there is absolutely nothing in the films, "on screen" as you say, to indicate Jedis are celibate.

Second, does Luke even have any idea that Anakin's relationship with Padme is the reason he fell to the dark side. Keep in mind, he hasn't seen Episode 3. And if he did, it would be much more logical to get rid of the restrictions on relationships. People can't help gaining attachments.

In Rogue Planet, a Jedi Master says to Mace "You've never married. I have. I have many children, on many worlds."

Maybe the "not celibate" Lucas quote was a nod to this?

Ki Adi-Mundi is another Jedi allowed marriage - who managed "marriage without attachment".

Yes, they do. Or at least they should be sterilized.

But all we have to glean from what happens in the films is that romantic relationships are forbidden by the Jedi. Attachment and all that which everyone tells Anakin to let go of. He doesn't and then he falls. Assuming Luke doesn't fall to the dark side (low odds on that one) the Jedi practice of (on-screen) celibacy would continue.

You're assuming that sex is always within the context of romantic relationships. It's not.

I haven't seen anything in Jedi doctrine that would forbid either a casual sexual encounter or a friends-with-benefits type relationship, and there is EU material indicating that Obi-Wan had the latter.

There is no practice of on-screen celibacy. It is very possible to have sex outside of a relationship.

The point of the PT is not that loving someone leads to the dark side.

Yeah, but there isn't anything in the films that make a distinction between casual sexuality and romance when it comes to the Jedi. Literally the only Jedi who has anything romantic and/or sexual happen to their character in 6 whole movies is Anakin Skywalker. And he became a Sith Lord. Nothing in the films indicate that Jedi are allowed to engage in anything romantic or sexual because, if they do, it all ends horribly. And Luke rolls a bit more on the lightside than his old man. Therefore probably no Luke kid.

There is nothing in the films to indicate that there isn't a distinction between casual sexuality and romance. This distinction is a part of human nature. And GL made this distinction clear in a quote.

Anakin is also the only Jedi we see get his arm cut off, does getting your arm cut off automatically mean you go to the dark side?

If Anakin had been allowed to have his attachment openly, there is a very good chance he wouldn't have gone to the dark side.

Luke was trying pretty hard to **** Leia, and probably would have succeeded if Han wasn't there.

There's definitely a romance between Luke and Leia, and a few displays of affection.

Yeah but there's nothing in any of the movies to indicate there is any sort of casual sexuality in the slightest. The most you get is that dame that Han kissed when he first popped up in ANH and she got cut out. Or that gal at Anchorhead who had that other guy had his hands all over her. And she got cut out too. But especially for the Jedi. They don't do anything with anyone else that is either romantic or sexual. If they do, then they turn to the dark side. Luke doesn't go to the dark side. So Luke will never have kids. No attachment. No possession. All monk Jedi Master, all the time for Luke that is.

No, but there's nothing in the films to indicate that drinking a case of Corellian ale in one sitting wouldn't give Obi-Wan or Han the hangover of their lives, or that eating a pound of jerked dewback meat at once wouldn't make someone throw up. But since both are normal in the physiology of humans, I'm assuming that both would happen in any human Jedi. Ditto with sexual desire. As sexual desire can be separate from romance on Earth, I have no reason to believe that's impossible in the GFFA.

Anyone who has casual sex is a whore now? And no, no one supports the forced sterilization of prostitutes.

Too bad. Your loathing for people who enjoy sex, to the point of wishing them executed, is bloody hilarious.
