What We Talk About When We Talk About God by Rob Bell. Pretty good so far.

 

What We Talk About When We Talk About Sex, Baby by You and Me. pretty awesome, actually

 

Over 100+ pages into Red Harvest. Pretty good read so far. Better than Death Troopers.

 

Now I felt Death Troopers was better than Red Harvest.

I'm about 100 pages into Scott Sigler's Nocturnal. A bit slow to start but it's picking up.

 

Deathtroops wasn't a bad idea, but it wasn't as good as it could have been because Han and Chewie don't show up until like half way through the book.

Agreed. It was a good idea but I just didn't get into it as much as I am with Red Harvest. I am of two minds with Han and Chewie in Death Troopers. I like having them in it and sometimes I don't.

 

I liked RH better than DT...especially because Han & Chewie were in DT. It was unnecessary, in my opinion.

Started Palisades Park by Alan Brennert today.

 

I think it seems that because they don't appear until halfway through the book.

 

Started Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter yesterday, probably going to finish tonight. Another one that's been on my shelf for 11 or 12 years.

Amazing.

Yeah but I loved the plots within plots and plot twists we got with that one. Best one in that regard. DH, GOF and OOTP are my favorites. Followed by SS, COS and POA tied and then HBP.

 

Picked up an annotated English verse translation of Dante's The Divine Comedy off Amazon UK and it came today. I'm bouncing between that and the Sigler book listed above. I've never read the Dante book.

You honestly can't go wrong with Harry Potter.

 

Bookwise you would be correct but movie-wise? Nope. Books were better.

 

Nah movies are good too especially the last 3.

 

The OOTP movie was the best imo. HBP-was alright. DH pt 1 was the best of the last 3. DH pt was good but don't agree with some of the things done in it.

 

Glad I'm not the only one who thought OOTP was awesome, this movie gets so much hate

Plus DH P2 IMO was the best out of all 8
