I know, but as a protagonist it makes her look a little selfish that she didn't even try. Generally when a protagonist strikes a deal, they keep it.

But considering how much they had to do in the last episode, there obviously wasn't time.

 

I'd assume it happened off screen.

 

If there was something that would have made the episode even better it would be Luminara as a spectator at in the military tribunal; I can just imagine her reaction to Barriss being revealed as the true criminal and explaining why she did it (a shot of Luminara closing her eyes and lowering her head in disappointment/sorrow would have added a lot to the scene).

 

And it did!

I think one of my 'lets fix it' recommendation would be to include Luminara in this arc. She should have been at the funeral, in the tribunal, or hell on the council when the decision was made to toss Ahsoka to the wolves. I'd like to get some commentary from her. In a way her cold natured dogmatic ways could even be blamed for what happened. I'd like to see that thrown up. Its to bad we'll likely never get to see any fallout from this arc now.

 

I'm totally late to this party, and I haven't been around much, but I may as well give my thoughts.

In general, I tend to view The Clone Wars as a "what if" sort of thing with Star Wars canon. Heck, I'm sure it even contradicts the movies in some places. But that doesn't make it bad at all. While this arc creates some more retcons, it uses this to create a genuine sense of surprise. While I originally didn't like Ahsoka, I realize that not having her in the movies, but having her as a major character, creates a great sense of tension; anything can happen. It seems like alliances are always being formed and broken between unlikely characters (i.e. Ventress), but it's always the opposite of what's expected. As usual, the writing is up to par, and the fights are awesome (as always).

Though the Barriss Offee ordeal is still hard to believe. What does this mean for her later life and death during Order 66? Then again, it can be argued that she was originally intended to die on Geonosis.

 

Strange thing... When I heard Anakin call Ahsoka Snips in this episode right before the trial I had a weird feeling... like it would be the last time i'd ever hear him call Ahsoka snips. But I thought I was completely wrong because this was before all the cancellation stuff... Turns out now my instinct was unfortunately right.

Why would I rejoice over the end of the greatest TV show ever and the last time I will see the greatest master/apprentice duo together..

 

Greatest TV show ever? I love SW but I'm guessing you've only just started watching TV. This show is beautiful, and has a spectacle unlike any other animated TV show. The plot, however, suffered often. The dialogue wasn't always the snappiest.

I should introduce you to some really good TV, that would blow your mind if you think this is the greatest TV show ever. Some Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones, some Battlestar Galactica and FRINGE.

 

Game of thrones is garbage, Breaking bad is lame as well.... I've seen lots of good shows. Walking dead, american horror story, the killing, dexter, andmany more. Nothign compares to a good star wars show.

TBH its all overacting and its just porn... medieval era stories are usually lame too. Sorry but im not a fan of it... I'd take Clone wars any day of the week over that. Ignore me if you must...

The pornographic material serves a purpose, it's actually comically referred to as sexposition by the production team. Medieval stories are lame? You're just going to categorize more than one entire genre there? There's opinion and then there's ignorance.

Do you not like LOTR? How about Gladiator?

You realize the original Star Wars is basically a medieval tale reimagined as science fantasy, right? The princess, the rogue, the wizard, using swords etc.

 

As I intentionally said, Medieval settings are usually bad...Lord of the rings is an exception... The first 2 movies and the first half of the 3rd that is. Until they ruined it with all the ghost crap. I liked the 1st 2 LOTR but the hobbit was bad and the 3rd LOTR was alright....Gladiator is not set in medieval times BTW.

Not really game of thrones is legit just a porno it's kinda gross. they show us a gay sex scene for like 10 minutes strait and every episode theyres like 2 sex scenes full out nude. You may call me a bit of a prude, but I dont enjoy that and i prefer to be comfortable watching my favorite shows with my family and friends so yeah.

There is actually only 17 minutes of sexual material in the first two seasons (someone made a compilation video). That would be 17 minutes of 20 hours. For the mathematically inclined, that works out as 0.01% (to two decimal places) of the show is sex. If a porno was 0.01% sex, I'd get my money back.

The media likes to drum up the sex but there's not too much. Oh, and why mention a gay sex scene specifically? I hope I'm not picking up prejudice there.

Game of Thrones is rated 18. I have watched it with my father, he enjoys the show immensely. Even if I have to remind him who the heck everyone is when the show comes back for a new season.

If you don't want to watch it because of that minor material, that's fine. To call it a porno is ignorant.

 

TCW is nothing if compared to Game of Thrones imo, but then again you can't really compare the two and be fair. I guess you could look at the writing.

 

But even then Thrones is based on a series of adult novels known for their expert narrative.

They're just not aimed at the same audience, and aren't even in the same ballpark of quality. I happen to enjoy both, but I wouldn't compare them.

I'm pretty sure that it's impossible to objectively make that case.

You know I enjoy TCW, but it lacks subtlety, and is as inconsistent as a show can be.
