So many fond memories of that movie.
That was a great duel between Voldemort and Dumbledore. Am I the only one who laughed when that giant poster of Fudge was torn to pieces?

Am I the only one deeply bored by endless Harry Potter discussions all over the internet? ;)

    Yes :p

That being said: We do have someone posting in here who is reading the books for the very first time. So all Potter discussion needs to stop, please; we don't want to spoil anyone. You are free, however, to start an HP discussion thread (or a books vs. movies poll or whatever), and I, for one, will be in there in a heartbeat.

Before I go to Sleep, by S. J. Watson. One of the best examples of an untrustworthy narrator that I've read in a while. Loving this book so far, I'm 3/4 of the way through, I have no idea what's coming next and I love it. Great book.

"The Cartel" by Ashley and JaQuavis (their last names aren't given on my version & I'm too lazy to look them up).

It's a book my students recommended 2 1/2 years ago and now the library finally has it. My only issue is that they were freshmen when they rec'd it :p

Finished Red Harvest. Very fun read. Much better than Death Troopers. Didn't care for Hestizo though. On to Knight Errant. Need to finish part 3 but reading the whole thing since I don't remember where I left off in Part 3.

I didn't go beyond the novel for Knight Errant. I couldn't stand the main character. To me she came off as 'Super Jedi'.

Finished the Sigler book - pretty good. I'll be starting Bernard Knight's The Elixir of Death tonight. It's number ten in his Crowner John series.

I don't mind Kerra Holt. Much better main character than Hestizo.

Star Trek: Assignment Eternity, by Greg Cox. The dude sure likes referencing 60s/70s sci-fi in with his Trek. I've found references so far to The Avengers (John Steed and Emma Peel), The Prisoner, 2001, and The Questor Tapes.

Is that the one with the brigadier from Doctor Who in it too?

I don't think so. IDW did ask the BBC if they could do a Star Trek/Doctor Who crossover a few years back between the Third Doctor and Gary Seven (The Trek character who works for mysterious alien powers on Earth in the 20th century, who is the focus of the book I'm reading) but they said no.

There definitely is one (and it's laced with other 60s/70s action/scifi references too), but it's not a licensed appearance, more of an Easter egg. Look out for an English brigadier shouting something like "three rounds rapid!"
