Yeah. Andy Serkis being eaten by giant phallic looking tape worms was super creepy.

Better or worse than the Human Centipede trilogy?

Batman Forever was on G4. I hadn't seen it years. I realized that right off the bat(hehe, sorry) they tell you this movie sucks compared to the last 2 with the first exchange of dialogue.

"Can I persuade you to take a sandwich with you, sir?"

    "I'll get drive-through."

Brilliant movie. One of the best I've seen in a while. 5 out of 5 from me.

Agree 100%. Mila Kunis is just so big right now that they had to do it.

You know in comparison to the Burton films I actually think Forever is far superior in creating a fleshed out Bruce Wayne with more real motivations.

Sadly, yes. And I kind of hate you a little for making me look it up just to be completely positive of it.

    Django Unchained

Spaghetti westerns are the only style of western I've ever enjoyed. Django falls into the middle of that pack for me. I haven't fully enjoyed a QT film since Pulp Fiction. Django came the closest but still not anywhere near as good.

It's okay but definitely not the best in the series. I was expecting something a bit....more.

Finally saw this and was pleased. A hypothetical revenge fantasy flick in the vein of Inglorious Basterds, but this time the German bloke is the good guy, which was a nice touch. A funny and entertaining take on the spaghetti western. Good performances by DiCaprio, and Foxx in particular. Fun fact: the scene at the dinner table where DiCaprio bleeds from his hand was not planned that way. DiCaprio stayed in character and continued the scene, so Tarantino didn't cut.

Watched The Dark Knight Rises on BD after having watched the preceding tw films over the past two weeks. It definitely works well as an end cap to the trilogy, though it does have a slight disjointed structure in that the film is clearly a Bane movie up until around the jump forward in time, before shifting focus to the other villain (even if we don't realize it at the time).

It was entertaining enough, but not as funny as I expected it to be with Murphy and Stiller starring.

G.I. Joe Retaliation... I went into this film with low expectations (as I wasn't exactly enamored with the original, and I've never seen the cartoons or played with G.I. Joe toys), but came out pleasantly surprised. The acting held up, and despite the action suffering from its PG-13 limitations, was well done. The story (even if I was a bit lost in parts, particularly with Rza's scenes) was interesting, and Jonathan Pryce stole the movie (his best scenes came during the nuclear summit at Ft. Sumter). Having Willis as the original Joe was a plus.

'Django Unchained'. I liked it but as a huge Quentin Tarantino fan I'm sorry to say that I came nowhere close to loving it. All of Tarantino's strengths are on full display here and Christoph Waltz is utterly brilliant but I wish Tarantino had used a lot more discipline in mapping his plot. Some sequences just go on way too long and Tarantino just over explains the mythology of the spaghetti western into your face over and over again.

And yeah you can't help but grimace a little bit when you realize this film was made by a white man. I suppose this is one of the film's strengths as it does keep your on edge a bit.
