    Six more days to back Torment: Tides of Numenera, if anyone's interested. Pat Rothfuss has already been added to the writing team, and if we get to 3.5 mil, Chris Avellone will be on board, too.

    Which, IMO, is kind of vital for a game calling itself Torment. :p

    I still haven't beat the first Assassin's Creed, and I don't currently have access to it, I also haven't even played any of the others, so I am kind of out of luck when it comes to Assassin's Creed at the moment.

    So. After failing the first day, I'm at the GOT exhibit. While in line, I chatted up a group of Frey fangirls (that's a thing?!?) and I'm currently in line for the Iron Throne. PG is here as well.

    At the Greek and Roman gallery at the Met. I could live here. I'm just walking around randomly depositing knowledge. I helped this family identify Cyprus on a map and helpfully named all the Cyclades for them, just in case they were wondering.

    Yeah I specifically thought if you as I saw them. My first words to them were something like (whole pointing at a drum with the Frey towers): "W-what? But. Is that? Why?"

    they were all carrying musical instruments. Ugh.

    Y'know, as regal and dignified as GrandAdmiralJello looks upon the Iron Throne, I must confess I'm surprised by how outright *badass* Point Given looks. Like, seriously, that's a dude who looks like he's about to order the execution of my entire family without batting an eyelash. I am suitably cowed.

    And maybe a little turned on.

    Ris_jSarek -- yes exactly such a thing is possible. I'd do it for you, but we have a formal procedure to prevent anise so the admins generally handle that. See the thread in Comms for the process.

    Ulicus -- HAH. I told PG that he totally had a Mad King / Stannis at his most fanatical vibe going there. He didn't believe me. :p

    They gave us literally only five seconds to pose before they snapped their shot (some people still insisted on doing absurd sideways poses). Fortunately I happen to know how to sit a throne and adopted a monarchical pose quickly enough. I wish I had more time, but I was driven from the throne even quicker than GRRM could've written it!

    Anyway, I think you two would be adorable together. You have the imperial blessing.
