Easier to recall a movie where I thought I was going to have a brain aneuryism as my vision went black from laughing so hard, than where I last cried.

I still haven't seen that movie, but I feel like I should watch it.

I've found that in the past three years, I've just become so sappy and sentimental about movies.

 

That's why it's important to intersperse dramas with comedies or, failing that, cartoon ducks.

 

Cartoon ducks should always be included in one's lineup.

Funny story regarding DW - my parents got me the first season on DVD as a joke a couple of years ago, since I used to be obsessed with it as a toddler.

And it holds up. Spectacularly. I'd rank it with Batman: TAS, Animaniacs, and Freakazoid in the category of "cartoons from my childhood that have gotten better as I got older."

Granted, it helps that the Kaboom! comic, while lamentably short lived, is an utter triumph.
