Yeap, there'll probably be 10 categories, but season four and season five will be separate, so there'll actually be 20 categories to vote on, but I'm still deciding.

I might not be able to give the live results tomorrow or the next day, so I'm extending the voting time for either one or two more days. The episodes of the year awards will be posted after I've done the results to these awards.

It's results time! After two weeks of voting, it's time to reveal the nominees and winners of each category of the annual LACWAC characters of the year awards!
Each category will have five nominees, these five nominees will be the characters that got the most votes, and then I will reveal the winner.
Starting with the bonus category: The character with the greatest death of the year.
    The nominees are:
(Since this category was added near the end, there will only be three nominees)
    Savage Opress
    Pre Vizsla
    Duchess Satine Kryze
    And the winner is...
    Savage Opress!
Savage Opress had a great death scene in the season five episode, 'The Lawless'. He fought Darth Sidious along with his brother Darth Maul, but even the combined strength of the two brothers wasn't enough to stop the most powerful Sith Lord in the galaxy. They fought him for a short period of time until he seperated the two brothers and used both of his lightsabers to strike down Savage, leaving him to say his final words to his brother before returning to his normal state.

Next is category 15: The second chance award.
(This was for a character that you thought deserved an award, but didn't get nominated in any of the other categories)
    The nominees are:
    Pre Vizsla
    Savage Opress
    Captain Rex
    Anakin Skywalker
    Asajj Ventress
    And the winner is...
    Captain Rex!
Captain Rex fought alongside Jedi General Anakin Skywalker in many battles. Rex's stand out performance was during the Umbara arc, where he served under Jedi General Pong Krell. Rex stood up for his fellow brothers when he felt that Krell was putting their lives in danger by taking the more dangerous approach in battle. When Rex and the other Clone Troopers discovered that Krell was actually a traitor, they stood up to him and eventually captured him. Rex also helped Anakin, Obi-Wan and Ahsoka on Kadavo, where he helped free Togrutan slaves, and Onderon, where he helped train rebels for combat against Separatist forces.

Next is category 14: The character with the best voice acting of the year.
    The nominees are:
    Darth Sidious (Ian Abercrombie)
    Darth Maul (Sam Witwer)
    Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein)
    Anakin Skywalker (Matt Lanter)
    And the winner is...
    Darth Sidious (Ian Abercrombie)!
Ian Abercrombie portrayed Darth Sidious (Chancellor Palpatine) throughout most of the series, with his stand out performance being the the season five episode, 'The Lawless', where he actually got to play as Darth Sidious instead of Chancellor Palpatine. In this episode he fought both Darth Maul and Savage Opress, where he managed to kill Savage and make Maul start begging for mercy. The famous final lines spoken by Ian Abercrombie in The Clone Wars, were "Don't worry, I'm not going to kill you, I have other uses for you." Which was said when he was using Sith lightning to torture Maul after telling him that there is no mercy.

Next is category 13: The character model of the year.
    The nominees are:
    Darth Maul
    Savage Opress
    Duchess Satine Kryze
    Darth Sidious
    And the winner is...
    Darth Maul!
Darth Maul was introduced into The Clone Wars at the end of season four, in the episode 'Brothers', where he was living in an underground cave on the planet Lotho Minor. There he had half a mechanical body that resembled a spider, but once his brother, Savage Opress had found him, he broguht him back to their home planet, Dathomir, where Mother Talzin rebuilt Maul's lower body and gave him two new mechanical legs made by the scraps of battle droids from the battle that previously took place there. With his new legs and his mind set on one thing, getting revenge on Obi-Wan Kenobi, he set of with Savage to find him and make his suffer for what he had done many years ago on Naboo. Once failing two attempts at killing Obi-Wan, Pre Vizsla and the Death Watch found him and Savage and rebuilt Maul's legs once again. Later on he fought his old master, Darth Sidious, with Savage, but they were both defeated, and Maul's fate is yet to be revealed.

Next is category 12: The cameo of the year.
    The nominees are:
    Coleman Kcaj
    Embo
    Cin Drallig
    Petro
    Wat Tambor
    And the winners are...
    Coleman Kcaj and Cin Drallig!
Both Coleman Kcaj and Cin Drallig made minor appearances in Revenge of the Sith. Coleman Kcaj appeared in the season five episode, 'The Wrong Jedi', where he was seen sitting on the Jedi Council, and was one of the Jedi Masters that had to make the decision of expelling Ahsoka Tano from the Jedi Order, because of the evidence that made her look like the one who bombed the Jedi Temple. Cin Drallig appeared in the season five episode, 'Sabotage', where he was in charge of the security forces at the Jedi Temple. Anakin Skywalker spoke with him about the recent bombing on the Jedi Temple and told him who they think it might have been, which was Jackar Bowmani, and when Anakin showed Cin Drallig the picture of him, Letta Turmond told them both that Jackar is her husband, giving them another lead in the investigation to find out who was the saboteur behind the bombing of the Jedi Temple.

Next is category 11: The one off character of the year.
(This was for a character who only appeared in one episode.)
There was only one character who was nominated for this award, as all of the other characters that people voted for only got one vote.
    And the winner is...
    Clone Commando Gregor!
Gregor appeared in the season five episode, 'Missing in Action'. Gregor was a Clone Commando, who Colonel Meebur Gascon and WAC-47 found on the planet Abafar, after their ship crashed and they located a small town in the middle of nowhere. Gregor was working as a dish washer for his boss Borkus, but what Gregor didn't know was that he used to serve as a Clone Commando for the Republic, so once Gascon made him remember his past, he was quick to want to rejoin the Republic once again. He helped Gascon and the rest of the D-Squad escape Abarfar by clearing a path right to a Separatist ship, and destroying many battle droids. It was assumed that Gregor died after he told Gascon to take off without him, as he continued to fight the battle droids, but his fate is yet to be revealed.

Next is category 10: The character with the greatest scene of the year.
    And the nominees are:
    Ahsoka Tano
    Darth Sidious
    Savage Opress
    Anakin Skywalker
    Obi-Wan Kenobi
    And the winner is...
    Ahsoka Tano!
Ahsoka Tano had many great scenes this year, but the one that stood out and got her the votes, was the final scene of the episode, 'The Wrong Jedi', which was also the final scene of season five. This scene showed Ahsoka walking away from the Jedi Order after she got blamed for the bombing on the Jedi Temple and everything else that happened afterwards, when it was actually one of her closet friends in the Jedi Order, Barriss Offee. After Anakin Skywalker revealed to everyone that Barriss was actually the one behind everything, the Jedi Council apologized and offered her the rank of Jedi Knight, as they felt that what she had done to prove her innocence was actually her trial to becoming a Jedi Knight. After thinking carefully about this offer, Ahsoka decided that it was best to leave the Jedi Order. She then spoke with Anakin outside the Jedi Temple, and explained to him why she wanted to leave, and trust had a big impact on her decision. It was an emotional, yet great scene to end the season.

The removal of Ahsoka from the scene and cameos of these two, the arc did actually transition into RotS quite well, even if not intended to be the finale.

Next is category 9: The duellist of the year.
    And the nominees are:
    Darth Sidious
    Savage Opress
    Pre Vizsla
    Darth Maul
    And the winner is...
    Darth Sidious!
Darth Sidious has only been in one duel in the entire series, but it was definitely on of the best. He fought Darth Maul and his brother, Savage Opress on Mandalore, after they had taken complete control of the planet. Maul told Sidious, who was his former master, that he had done everything on Mandalore hoping to return as his apprentice, but Sidious told him that he had become a rival, and the fight began. Sidious managed to separate the brothers throughout the duel and then kill Savage while Maul was watching, this made Maul furious, thought it was not enough to defeat the most powerful Sith in the galaxy. At the end of the duel, Sidious put his lightsabers away and used the force to make Maul start begging for mercy, which he then replied with "There is no mercy." Sidious then started to use his Sith lightning to torture him, but the fate of Maul and what Sidious has done with him is yet to be revealed.

Next is category 8: The funniest character of the year.
    And the nominees are:
    Hondo Ohnaka
    Colonel Meebur Gascon
    And the winner is...
    Hondo Ohnaka!
Hondo Ohnaka appeared several times throughout season five, where one moment he was helping the Jedi, and the next, he was against them. Hondo likes his money, so if he sees an opportunity to make profit, he'll take it, not matter what the risk. Hondo attempted to steal lightsaber crystals off of a group of Younglings, who Ahsoka Tano was in charge of, so he found himself fighting her, and even managed to capture her, leaving the Younglings no choice but to go and rescue her from Florrum themselves, after Obi-Wan Kenobi was unable to help. While Hondo was drunk, the Younglings rescued Ahsoka by distracting him with a circus act and sending him flying and crashing to the ground. Hondo soon helped Ahsoka and the Younglings escape Florrum and and even defeat General Grievous. Hondo soon found himself helping out Obi-Wan Kenobi by chasing Darth Maul and Savage Opress off of Florrum and sending their ship crashing to the ground. He then asked Obi-Wan if he'd like to see what riches had fallen out of the sky. Hondo also helping Ahsoka Tano and rebels on Onderon, by providing them with rocket launchers to destroy the droid gunships.

Your're proven wrong buddy, he lasted solid MINUTES against maul, he really only lost cause he got k/o'd by maul's metal legs.... if maul had normal legs, arguably vizsla could have won
