    I'm the prankster of the family and always pull something new and different on my family. My family has been very tired and stressed out lately, so I'll take it easy on them this year. ;)

    The best prank I've ever heard of was a story my dad told about my great-grandmother sewing the silverware to the tablecloth.:D

    So I showed my 6 year old sister the Obi-Wan vs Anakin fight and I asked her what she thought about it. All she said was "Pretty people shouldn't fight". Ehh...can't disagree with her there ;)

    When I taught high school, I used to tell my classes on April Fool's Day every year that sorry guys, something else has come up (tomorrow/the next day) and I've had to push forward that test I was planning; they were just going to have to take it that day instead. At least one class always fell for it. Or I'd pretend I was assigning a lot of extra homework.

    I haven't done much in the way of pranks since then. I have seen some awesome JC pranks though so be warned. Three words: Jar-Jar Stand-Alone Movie.

    And wow, you people who have siblings who are younger than my children...I'll go swallow my senior vitamin pill and sulk in the rocking chair in the corner now... :p

    This mom- group feed I subscribe to on Facebook went off about the pregnancy jokes, said that anyone who uses them is being an insensitive ass because there are women who have lost babies or undergone fertility treatments.

    Geez Louise, people. (And for full disclosure my sister did have fertility issues but she wasn't upset about that joke last year.)

    I was on a website for mothers when my kids were smaller, and the experience reiterated something I already knew instinctively:

    I've always preferred hanging out with men because so many women are humorless, and they're even more humorless in large groups.
