How do you know it's only a rumor? Just because season 6 is done doesn't mean they'd release all of the episodes, for whatever reason that would be. I really hope it's only a rumor, but I don't want to get my hopes up that it's not.

 

It's only a rumor because its not confirmed. Doesn't mean it's not true, but there is no confirmation.

 

So Chewbacca beat Ahsoka in the March Madness poll.

HOWEVER, it is quite an amazing feat that Ahsoka is third when it comes to those who lost in the same bracket. Han Solo lost with 45% to Obi-Wan, Cad Bane lost with 38% to Jabba and Ahsoka lost with 35% to Chewbacca.

Ahsoka received more votes in her versus than big name heroes like Luke and Leia, as well as villains like Maul, Jango and Dooku. While Luke and Leia's respective match-ups may have played a part in their loss, for both of them it was OT character versus OT character. Ahsoka, meanwhile, is a lowly TCW character derived from a TV show. The most recent Star Wars product, and far lower on the SW totem pole than big characters like Luke, Leia and Chewbacca. Yet, despite this she got more votes than the lead actors of the OT.

I'd say that is pretty impressive!

% of vote doesn't equal number of votes. She may have gotten a higher percentage in that particular poll, but it doesn't necessarily mean she got more votes.

Not at all true.

It was a result of management shake-ups, which resulted in a break-down of relations between LucasArts and Free Radical. There's also rumours that FR were simply unable to get the game running properly, and continually missed deadlines.

Doesn't sound like we're going to get much out of the RFR interview.

 

Meh, sounds like he's under an NDA. Guess we likely won't know Filoni's exact role in this upcoming animation series. Director? Animator? We can only speculate right now. It's clear that this new show is still in the planning stages, I hope that we will actually learn something new in this interview; otherwise it will be a typical Filoni gush-fest trying to build excitement with little concrete information. Well, looking forward to whatever the future holds for Star Wars animation.

 

Hmm well Filoni seems to hint in RFR that we will see the Clovis arc at least. That's what I've got from what he's said.

 

Listening to it now! Wonder how much he'll reveal... tempted to skip through the banter but never know if he'll slip something in.

As I listen:

Dave can't say much about the bonus content, aside from saying we'll see more stories and some of the big questions will be answered (such as order 66).

Dave isn't against loose ends (referring to Ahsoka and Maul I believe) and hopes to pick up those in the future, either him or somebody else. Hope he is referring to the next animated series.

Says he might drop something later in the show... here's hoping! 20 mins in, still no mention of Boba or Yoda arcs.
