Discussion What planets or scenes would you like to see in Ep VII?

Yeah a totally uninteresting ocean planet where it constantly rains and is inhabited by dull CGI aliens is certainly CHILLING stuff indeed. Blows The Shining out of the water in my book.

 

Seconded... after TCW and the Mon Cala episodes I lost all interest in seeing a water world (though if the do it like Legacy where Krayt killes 1/10th of its Mon Cal population just to teach the galaxy a lesson I'd love it)

 

Mon Cal could be interesting. Ackbar was one of my faves, 'we CANNOT repel firepower of that magnitude!' Legend.

 

I would like to see (for the entire Trilogy)...

New Planets/Environments: Ossus, Corelia, Tython, Zost, Korriban, Byss, Malastare

Returning Planets: Courasant, Naboo, Bespin/Could City, Yvain's Moon from ANH.

Some sort of resort planet.

I am sure there are a number of unsused concepts from ROTS (I remember the Art book showing many different designs). I'm sure that GL has lots of ideas aswell.

But I would love to see a planet that is agricultural (where there is no technology). This would mean that when the main characters go there they have very limited tech resources and so the story slows down a bit relying on the charcter's personality (just for a time being within the film, a bit like when we were first introduced to Tatooine in ANH (although there was lots of cool tech to ogle over) - there will be lots of time for the good ol' SW excitement elsewhere).

Yep. Kamino was a disappointment. Finally a water planet (barring some 'big fish' in TPM) and a chance to explore that environment and all the action takes place indoors or on a platform.

Maybe a planet which is like freaking dead....like not even the force wants to go there. It would be interesting to see our main heroes have to survive without the aid of the force. Just an idea.

 

We've seen it in animation lets see it live action: Onderon!!!

 

Malastare, Felucia, Illum, Moons of Iego, Mustafar, Ord Radama, Dromund Kass and Yoda's Home planet, where ever that snot colored goblin looking creature crawled out of!

 

New planets but also some old ones such as Coruscant, Tatooine and Dagobah or even Naboo(but no Jar Jar).

Concord Dawn, anyone? Crystal Mine worlds. Giant stone and masonry temples set around gaseous, jungle planets. The 4th Moon of Yavin. Core world droid factories. No more GEONOSIS. Perhaps Bal'demnic, where a variety of force crystals are found.

 

i don't think they should go back to Tatooine. that feels like Anakin/Luke's planet and that story is done. i really don't wanna see any rehashing of any of the old planets except Coruscant. let's go to new places.

Korriban is #1. rebuilding the Jedi Order on Tython would be cool. seeing Mandalore would be awesome. i wouldn't mind to see what Taris is like now.
