Why was blue milk not explained in the prequels ? Personally I found the mystical element suggested in the OT to be really annoying and would have preferred a scientific explanation.

    Any other examples?

What is it about blue milk that warrants explanation? Which suggested OT mystical element do you reference as being really annoying and preferentially scientifically explainable? Also, why is it that you seek a scientific explanation for that which cannot be explained by science alone - for something that is relative to religious mysteries? Or do you in fact posit blue milk as this mystical element?

The history of the Sith is something important that isn't explained in the prequels imo.

Q: What is it about blue milk that warrants explanation?
A: Because the way it is portrayed in ANH is vague to say the least. It in itself doesn't warrant explanation, I just want explanation.
    To end the mystery.

Q: Which suggested OT mystical element do you reference as being really annoying and preferentially scientifically explainable?
    A: Blue milk

Q: What is that you seek a scientific explanation for that which cannot be explained by science alone - for something that is relative to religious mysteries?
A: I don't want it to be explained by science alone, but to have some grounding in science.

Q: Or do you in fact posit blue milk as this mystical element?
A: No. I think that there is a mystical element to blue milk. I don't think that the blue milk is the mystical element itself.

I was hoping there would be more examples of important things in this thread and not just the old blue milk debate again

ANH: The Tosche Station. Never mentioned again.

ESB: Leia kissing Luke. Fixable plothole.

ROTJ: Relationship between Rancour and Rancour Keeper. Seemed important.

Wait a moment. Are really discussing Blue Milk? Or is this our subconscious way of discussing The Force and those awesome little Midichlorians?

The Syfo Dyas story/mystery seems important within the Prequel Trilogy itself, yet is unexplained and left dangling like loose ends tend to dangle, irritating only those who can see them. And a Jedi sees them not.

Bad thread titling on my part. More interested in things in OT that you would like to have seen explained / straight up expected an explanation for in new Star Wars films.
Personally expecting explanation of Mr Dyas in EpIIV :)

No. Midichlorian debates belong elsewhere. Actually, blue milk debates probably do too.

No. Imagine you are George Lucas. It's 1995. You have planned on making the backstory.
You are writing a list of the things in Star Wars that you want to explore. To explain.

The tragedy of Darth Vader was explained perfectly well in the originals so people don't need to see that.
Blue Milk on the other hand....

I think the PT takes into account a lot of the EU n many ways and doesn't explain stuff that is explained there.

    in addition to blue milk

I wanna know why the PT didn't explain why Owen needed a droid that speaks Bocci

I mean what a farce the PT didn't explain such a mysterious thing

Bocci - I think the farm droids/machinery probably use that language.

I suppose it's like having a droid speaking DOS for the old PCs and stuff...!

I can accept the lack of explanation for blue milk.

I would have liked to know how Leia remembered her mother and Luke didn't.

A further explanation for 3PO's first job "programming binary loadlifters" would have been nice too.

I'll take a bit of a stab at that - 3PO was left with Shmi when young Anakin left home. Shmi eventually gets sold to Cliegg Lars who had taken over his family's moisture farm. Presumably she took 3PO along since he was there in AOTC. Conceivably 3PO's first job could have been programming loadlifters on the farm. Alternatively as she was still a slave perhaps Watto put 3PO to work doing that since Anakin was no longer around.

I think it was Beru who asked for a Bocce droid.
So it probably has something to do with Blue Milk. Which makes it a conspiracy.
