without it you never have steve kerr in the NBA. or any number of other players like him that physically couldn't have played directly out of high school. where should they have gone to play without college basketball?

 

I'm not saying it shouldn't exist, nor do I challenge why people watch it. It's simply a sport I'm not fond of.

 

Plenty of options. Minor League options, like baseball has. Pro/Rel pyramid systems like most pro soccer leagues. Barnstorming teams.

Just because we're used to the college -> Draft -> Pro path doesn't mean it's the ONLY path.

It's not forgetting you don't have a timeout, but how do you wait for a bad foul shooter to get the ball when you have a foul to give? Do they not teach COUNTING at TSUN?

 

not disputing that, but there aren't really many options as things stand now.

as terrible as my bracket was this year i did at least manage to pick the champion. so that's something.

 

Hey, i picked the correct runner-up! if you combine our two brackets, it might be just barely over the line of crappy

 

I won my work bracket challenge...it probably says more about my competition being awful than my picks, though. That bracket was better than the one I used for here, but not by much.
