I'll probably be out of the running for awhile since I made myself have way to many fics..and I'm going to do that collab with Jade_eyes

 

I don't know what post secret is. And to answer your question...I have the internet to read fanfic porn and for teachers to contact me about my son's bad grades! Anway...if you are posting a secret...then you don't got good enough secrets. I can get arrested for posting my secrets. Unless your song fic involves 80s classic rock I probably never heard of the song. I'd rather not do a song fic...the other thing I would try.

Hey, I listen to a lot of classic 80s rock. But I think only certain people have the writing for song fics, and that does not include me.

Postsecret is a website where people send this guy their secrets on a postcard, completely anonymously, and he takes a couple of them each week and posts them on the postsecret blog. Some of them people could get arrested for if they weren't anonymous. Just google it. I can't post a link because sometimes there are sometimes quite skanky pictures on the postcards.

 

I meant to do the last challenge but March was awful and I never had time. I hope to start working on a new story, but if it's a fun challenge I am willing to attempt to do it. (Notice how I didn't say 'try'. )

 

Ugh. Time. Whenever I need it, I don't have any and whenever I have an abundance of it, I don't want it. I'm done classes and my last exam is on Saturday, so I'm going to find myself with an over-abundance of time and very little to accomplish. I want to write some fanfic over the summer, but no plot bunnies have been attacking me rabidly recently. I hope it's just exams and my muse isn't dead.


Anyways, do you guys want to do the post-secret challenge thing? I probably wont have it up for like over a week. It'll run for like 2 months, meaning you can grab a number anytime and I'll send you a secret from postsecret or postsecret archives. Or do you guys just want to wait until inspiration hits me with a club and a better challenge?

 

LOL I'd offer you any ones I have if I had them. I end actually writing and then..become overwhelmed (sighs). Naw, I'm okay. hopefully I can get two stories chapters done by the end of this week.

 

So you send us a secret that you found on post secret...like "I am secretly into pony play" and we have to write a Luke/Mara story about that? That sounds good as long as the secret doesn't have to be Luke or Mara's secret...but it could be someone else's secret that they discovered. The reason I am asking that is if I get the secret, "I'm cheating on my husband" I really don't want to write a scenario where Luke is a cuckold, but it would be interesting to see how Luke and Mara would handle finding out Corran is cheating on Mirax (honestly I would hate to see that also. I may have to make up some cheating OCs). I guess what I am saying is don't be too mean with the secrets, but if they are horrible secrets can they be the secrets of people in the lives of Luke and Mara?

It sounds like fun.

Yeah, if I have to write a "Mara has an affair with Han and breaks up both marriages" I think I would cry.

I remember getting upset when a fanfic had Luke cheating on Callista to be with Mara. Callista!!! I was upset that Luke cheated on Callista! I admit the Luke/Mara sex in a back alley was a pretty interesting situation, but my Farmboy doesn't cheat. I think that was One Night on Coruscant. It was one of the One Night stories.

Okay. I agree. I'll try to pick a nice variety of secrets (some sad, some juicy, most just funny), but there might be some that don't really fit Luke or Mara, so yeah, making it someone else's secret is fine. How many secrets should I gather up? I think 10 is a good number, that way if people really enjoy the challenge they can have 2, or if someone just cant think of something they can ask for an alternative.

 

That sounds good. I like doing challenges if I am not in the middle of a huge epic LONG story. I just did the Minor Roulette challenge over in Saga. Those are challenging.

My muse seems to be broken I have a real hankering to write some fanfic, but nothing is coming out of my brain! I've even hit a brick wall on my diary. Plot bunnies always attack me when I have too much else to do but now that I have nothing to do, they will not talk to me. The only one that is even active is a Mara-torture fic (I think I've told some of you people about this one: Mara isn't killed by Jacen but is captured and tortured by him but she eventually rescued by Luke) but I said I'd NEVER write anything like that.

How long do I have to write it?

 

I need some help with something....is anyone here familiar with a series of books by L.M Montgomery? if so, please PM me....I am trying to write a fanfic and I need some extra brainstorming ideas for it
