    Just for that... *Hoses you down* Monkeys sometimes get dirty from the ground, and fleas and stuff. So by portraying one (read: several), you clearly wanted a good scrub!

    curses under her breath, she knows Becca is good. Twists sideways to avoid the smoke but takes a direct hit to her front shields, weakening them. Frantically she transfers all fire energy to the shields and decides to just go for it, gunning her engines to almost screaming point.....saving that for the end. She pulls up beside Becca, dipping beneath her sight line

    Move over hotshot, make room for the oldie

    feels Beccas nudge and snarls an unpleasant word describing a female of a k9 species before pushing back. Looking forward she can see the finish in the distance and starts to wonder just how fast this thing can go compared to the X wing beside her.Mutters

    Let's find out.

    opens the craft up, engines whining now but she's getting what she wants out of it as she starts to edge forward, smiles and says

    Now I remember why they call Rooty 'speed'.....
