Discussion Alleged EpVII Title / leaked info: The Twin Suns

Fake. Darth Tano? It's a better effort than Reclamation at least.

I honestly dont see anonymous caring if Disney removes a SW7 spoiler. I can't remember the last time they legit got involved in any movie bit of news *and no megaupload and illegal downloading of movies protest does not count*

 

I agree that the chances are low that anything would happen, but my plan of action is to NOT poke a stick in the hornets nest that is known as /b/

I saw them hunt down a lady off a video tape. Within an hour, they had her name, address, ssn, where she worked, where her kids went to school, EVERYTHING. Granted she deserved it, but it was all from a videotape of her on a bus.

 

Anonymous spends their time hacking facebook, north korea, and mostly political based stuff. Theymost likely wont care. The people who hacked WBs movie websites in order to see whats the big reveal behind their movie virals are on the other hand.......gotta watch out for them

It was weird how excited I was getting reading completely fake info on Episode VII.

I'll play devil's advocate and say it's legit, and "Darth Tano" is simply a working name for that character.

The name of "Darth Khaaos" - you'll note it's an anagram of "Ahsoka." Ah, the obsessive theorizing and frame-by-framing of the PT is coming back to me....

 

Okay. So I know the consensus is that this is pure BS, which I'm okay with. However, I think there are some intriguing cocepts particularly the theme of the Twin Suns. Even if that isn't the title, the ide of the Solo twins diverging makes for an interesting story and, as I said, is something we've speculated for months now.

Aside from that here are some of the ideas I thought were cool:

Excoriator = Mostly because it sounds cool and I have no idea what it means
Kilo Calrissian = I would be totally supportive of a Lando offspring
Great Republic = NOT a New Republic, but a GREAT Republic!!!
Admiral Solo = I like General Solo better but Admiral still works for me so long as Han Solo is in the ST to some extent
Hope Rendar = Could Dash be far behind? Dash was one of the few EU characters I kinda liked
Tython = Is my first choice for the New Jedi Order's home base

You can poo-poo this all you want but you can't poo-poo all of it. Some of it does sound intriguing.

 

"Rendar" - copied EU/Computer game character?
"Tano" - copied EU/TCW character?
"Khaaos" (Ashoka) - bit too coincidental methinks?
"Excoriator" - a made up name that is supposedly derived from Executor?
"Great Republic" - didn't Palps call the republic great in the PT?
"Tython" - more copied from EU?
"Admiral Solo" - whatever the title, I'm kinda expecting him to be high ranking military... didn't they refer to him as General in RotJ?
"Kilo Calrissian" - copied EU name AGAIN? (Kilo Detton)

In the entire PT was there that much copied from the EU?

 

Sounds mighty dull to me. I wouldn't pay to see it, so I guess it's good I got to read it here for free.

 

The twin suns does follow the title formula of the first films of both trilogies "Article adjective noun"

 

Yeah "Twin Suns" is more likely to be the actual name than the working title, as others have mentioned.

 

If the title of E7 is The Twin Suns, I'll buy a copy of the script and eat it. This document is a fake, therefore everything in it should be taken as such.

 

However, The Twin Suns would make a good title for one of the standalone movies.

 

I have no interest in this Twine Sungs.

 

This likely has merit. All I have to back that up is it's about time to start shooting this thing.

I wonder if Abrams and co would be crafty enough to release all this, which is all fake. While we quibble over these details they have all the secrecy!

 

There's a little too much familiarity in most of this for it to be real. Some of it isn't bad though.

I'll say two things about this: First, "The Twin Suns" would be a GREAT title. Abrams, Kennedy, Arndt: whatever you come up with, please please call the movie that!!

Second, whoever came up with this "leak" sure tried hard to give SW lots of new female characters, huh? Not that I'm saying this were impossible or a bad thing, but I somehow cannot see TPTB having both the villain and two of the main characters be women.
