While I put this in the OP, it bears pointing out in case anyone missed it... the Republic-in-Exile government is going to form up on Alsakan. Why you ask? Because the inner-EU fan in me likes the idea of having the two major powers set on those two planets. Alsakan and Coruscant never liked each other...so it works
